Sharing a few moments and places in Kazakhstan.
These were actually IG stories I posted back then and decided to upload as a carousel post.

Haven’t had the chance to sit on the full edit of this trip, but will work on it soon!

I never expected how much I’d enjoy wildlife photography. It felt like I was starting over as a beginner again. Not knowing much about how to photograph not only the technical side of it but also the behavior of animals, patterns of nature, and the importance of timing and silence. It was humbling and makes me want to do it again and again!

These photos were shot on the A9iii and 300mm 2.8 GMaster lens. Couldn’t have asked for a better combo for this trip!

Remembering the time I felt the most uneasy during a personal trip, especially coming from the other side of the world. We visited a place in the western part of Kazakhstan, Mangystau, which has only really started promoting tourism in the last 10-15 years. A somewhat remote, yet not entirely isolated destination, with only a few tour operators working there.

But man, it really felt like an expedition, stepping out into those open, surreal landscapes with nobody else around was incredible. It was a little uncomfortable, but totally worth it. Definitely an adventure we won’t forget!

Some moments happen in an instant, but what if your camera knew exactly when to capture them?

Had the chance to use the new CAMON 40 pro 5G in my recent travels around the Philippines and I’m really amazed of it’s Flashsnap AI feature. I don't even need to press a button! It knows when to shoot, so I can focus on the moment.

I woke up and started the day a little later than planned.

This morning followed a long day of driving and a safari with desert elephants. Today, we’re driving from the north to the south of Namibia for 8 hours, so I’m taking my time and making the most of the rest before another long journey.

Checking the time on my Prospex Alpinist, I made sure to pause for a moment before heading out again.

Hiked up the Big Almaty Lake! This glacial lake is formed by the melting of glaciers in the region. The water’s stunning turquoise color comes from the minerals by the glacial melt. This place is worth the visit!
