Had so much fun during my birthday photoshoot at Little Kyoto in Cebu! πŸ₯° As someone who has always dreamed of visiting Japan, being here honestly felt like a small dream come true. The moment I walked in, it felt like I was transported somewhere far away.πŸ₯ΉCalm and surrounded by peaceful pathways, beautiful Japanese-inspired spots, and that relaxing vibe you just don’t get everywhere.

I really enjoyed exploring every corner of the place. It made my birthday feel extra special, and special thanks to ate Mitch for this lovely clips.πŸ₯ΉπŸ«Ά

This birthday feels a little different,it’s my first time celebrating away from home. Kinda weird, kinda emotional, but also really special. Being on my own made me realize how much I’ve grown and how far I’ve come.

Minsan kailangan mo talagang sumubok.
Kahit ramdam mong nanginginig ka sa bawat hakbang at pag-usad.
Kasi paano mo malalaman ang dulo, kung wala kang plano.
Paano mo makikita ang bukas, kung mas pinili mong umatras?

Alam koβ€”nakakatakot.
Yung feeling na baka magkulang, mapagod o mabigo.
Pero minsan, doon nagtatago ang bagay na matagal mo nang tinatakbo.

Mas mabuti nang sumubok, kaysa magsisi sa huli sapagkat hindi iniilaban ang sarili.
Dahil walang pangarap na natutupad sa taong hindi man lang sumubok.
At walang kwento ang gumaganda kung hindi mo sisimulan ang unang tuldok.

Kaya lakasan mo ang iyong loob
Hindi dahil sigurado ka,
kundi dahil may parte ng puso mong naniniwala na kaya mo.
At minsan, sapat na β€˜yon.
Isang tapang.
Isang desisyong pilit mong binubuo.
Isang hakbang palabas ng takot,
para simulan ang bagong yugto.

Kahit para sa pamilya ko na lang, Lord. Patanda na sila, at ramdam ko na rin kung gaano nila pinipilit kayanin ang bawat araw. Kaya araw-araw ko pong hinihiling na maranasan nila yung lagi kong binabanggit, hindi man sobra, pero sapat. Yung may ginhawa, may pahinga, at may kaunting kagaanan sa dibdib.

Alam ko, hindi madali ang lahat ng ito. Minsan kahit anong pagsusumikap parang kulang pa rin. Minsan napapagod, minsan naiiyak, minsan nagdududa. Pero sa tuwing naiisip ko ang pamilya, bumabalik ang pag-asa. Dahil sila ang dahilan kung bakit ako lumalaban, kahit ang minsan may pagod.

Kung pwede lang, Lord, sa kanila muna ang biyaya. Sa kanila muna ang kaginhawaan. Ako na lang po ang tatanggap ng pagod at pagsubok, basta makita ko lang silang nakangiti, payapa, at hindi na alalahanin kung may darating pa bang bukas.

At sa lahat ng lumalaban ng patas para maabot ang pangarap, hindi kahinaan ang mapagod, at hindi kasalanan ang magpahinga. Patuloy lang tayong kumapit, dahil may araw din na mararanasan ng pamilya natin ang ginhawang matagal na nating ipinagdarasal. Darating din yung panahon na masasabi nating, β€˜Sa wakas, Lord,matagal ko itong hinintay.Salamat!
