As part of the Communication Month Celebration, the Communication Circle prepared a game for ADF Fellows. Halina't tunghayan ang challenging yet fun learning experience ng iilan nating ADF Fellows.

#𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗕𝗲𝗙𝗶𝘁 | Beating the cool breeze of January, freshmen students of Asian Development Foundation College set the stage on fire as they showcase their talents in dancing for this year’s Dance Exercise Competition, January 19.

The competition showcased electrifying performances from 72 competing teams from various programs and diploma courses. Each team served the judges and the spectators with unique twists in dancing adding spice to their performances.

In a remarkable feat, the Diploma in Hospitality Management (DIP-HM) Block 6 clinched the championship title for this year’s competition followed by the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), Diploma in Hospitality Management (DIP-HM) Blocks 1 and 11, AB Psychology and Communication (ABPYSCH and ABCOMM), and Diploma in Hospitality Management (DIP-HM) Block 4.

Meanwhile, the Diploma in Hospitality Management (DIP-HM) Blocks 2 and 12 were awarded as the Most Disciplined Team, while the Bachelor of Secondary Education received the Best in Costume award.

The competition was made successful through the efforts of ADFC’s outstanding PE instructors namely Ms. Iris Jeane Tamboboy, Mr. Aljay John Lugasan, Ms. Bethany Zacarias, and Ms. Meryl Jade Catan as well as the school’s administration.

The event aims to unify ADF fellows through camaraderie, sportsmanship, and the art of dancing.

𝘼𝘿𝙁𝘾 𝘽𝘼𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝘿𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 & 𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥

The Digital Layouting & Imaging Workshop, with the theme 'Enhancing Creativity and Technical Skills in Digital Design', was spearheaded by 4th and 2nd-year BACOMM students of Asian Development Foundation College (ADFC) at HIS Capsule, December 1.

BACOMM students prove that they are eager and determined to learn new skills to help them in their future as media practitioners. With the patience and firm guidance of the resource speaker, Dominic Grant Nicart, BACOMM students learned various things about graphic designing.

BACOMM students enjoyed the learning, knowing that they could use the knowledge they gained to improve their skills and the materials they would deliver to ADF Fellows.

Rain or shine District Meet 2023 goes on

Unleashing the spirit of competition and camaraderie, the District Meet 2023 program assured a thrilling showcase of athleticism and sportsmanship. Athletes from District Learning Center (DLC) VIII converged earlier to push their limits and redefine excellence in the various sports tilts.

As the SNHS Quadrangle echoed with cheers, the event not only fosters a sense of community but also inspires a new generation of athletes to reach for the pinnacle of their athletic prowess.

𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵: 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 '𝟮𝟯

The crowd roared wild as the LA Warriors showed an over-the-top performance and were declared champions of the 2023 Cheerdance Competition conquering wet floors and grey skies on Sunday, October 22, at the Leyte Sports Complex.

Along with other exceptional face-offs from different departments, the Warriors were followed by the Phoenix, Tycoons, and Knights of the Nightingale, placing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th accordingly.

On top of that, the Warriors were also hailed as Best in Costume upon showing off their white and gold pep squad uniforms.

The gloomy weather did not stop the warmth of ADF fellows’ support, as the competition ended with joyous cheers and a loud blast. The winners surely did not go home empty-handed, for they were given cash prizes upon receiving their awards.

𝗟𝗔 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 '𝟮𝟯

The LA Warriors emerged victorious, taking first place again, in the 2023 Yells Competition held at the Leyte Sports Complex on October 22.

Every team's yell was creative and full of energy, captivating the audience and making the show enjoyable. All of the teams presented well-prepared and practiced yells with excellent hand gestures, creative props, and loud voices.

The yell competition was joined by four teams, starting with the Knights of Nightingale, who set the bar high for the following teams: Phoenix, Tycoons, and the defending champion, and still the 2023 winner, the LA Warriors.

The Tycoons came in second place, followed by the Knights of Nightingale in third place.

Overall, the yell competition was a great success. All three teams gave it their all, and the creativity and effort that went into each performance were evident.
