Hi, this is France. 🖐️
I know most of you here already know me and dang, I didn’t think that I’ll be able to have 200 likes on this page because I was not planning to expose this to anyone, at all. 👍
The first liker of this page was of course, me (not surprising). Then after 3 weeks or so, the training’s social media campaign started and I ridiculously thought of inviting 20 close friends in the hope that they will like my page and not share it with any soul. Well, that backfires in a good way and now, 3 weeks later here we are on the count to 300 likes (as if haha). 😉
Thank you to my college classmates, close friends, DCYI volunteers, and Facebook friends who believe in me by reacting and sharing some of my content especially to the ones who believed in me since day 1. Thank you for appreciating my work, this is amazing. 🙇

❗️As a person, who plans a lot, most of the time I fail to follow it. Probably because I do not usually set some methods or practices on how to achieve it. So, to counter this I stick to these practices to be productive and be steps away from achieving my goals. 🎉

When you have a goal in mind always apply this strategy.
💡Start with SMART goals.

S = Specific
M = Measurable
A = Achievable
R = Relevant
T = Tangible

❗️It is not unlikely that we feel like we are not taking care of our self. I, too am guilty of that. I ridiculously thought that taking vitamins could compensate for my lack of sleep, not consuming vegetables, and not exercising regularly, *spoiler alert*, it was not. I had dark circles under my eyes, pale skin and I easily get sick. So, by mid-2021, I religiously followed some tips to counter these unhealthy effects on my body. Surprisingly, it worked.😉

👇So, here are tidbits on how to take good care of ourselves,

1- Sleep on time. 😴
I do not suggest sleeping early like 7 or 8 PM because on the adult language early varies, plus we cannot afford to sleep by those times because we tend to do tasks, work, and some are still having their dinner. Sleep on time that you get 7-8 hours of sleep.

2- Drink a lot of water. 💧
When I say a lot, I mean 1.5 - 2 liters and that depends on the weather or the work you do. I just know that 1.5 liters is the minimum, not the average. Hydrating yourself regularly is a must. Not because you are thirsty but because your body needs it.

3- Sunlight exposure. ☀️
According to Healthline, regular sun exposure is the most natural way to get enough vitamin D to maintain healthy blood levels, so one need to aim to get 10–30 minutes of midday sunlight, several times per week. Plus, sunlight also helps our body by releasing the natural hormone of serotonin.

4- Eat healthily and heartily. 🍌🍅
Consuming healthy foods such as fish, meat, vegetables,fruits, etc especially if it's organic helps our body to be healthy and makes our gut happy.

1-Exercise regularly. 🏃
Exercising is therapeutic in the sense that you get to jog or walk while breathing fresh air and you get to notice trivial things around you that makes you happy. Try to jog or walk with your dog at least once a week or Zumba. It will certainly lighten your mood.

❕For quite a while, I have been racking the internet to find the right job for me. As someone who does not trust easily, I tend to research first to know if the site is legit or the site provides real jobs with proofs, of course.

💢Scams are not only on online buy and sell but it is also present on jobs, especially if it’s an online or remote job. So, before I sign up for a job site to find jobs, I try to watch videos about it, read blogs and articles, and also ask some of my freelancer friends.

❕Hiring a virtual assistant for your business or even your job is not uncommon these days especially since we are now shifting digitally. I posted content about the benefit of having a virtual assistant and there are a lot of reasons why one should consider hiring one. Having a virtual assistant can significantly increase the productivity of your work and grow your business without having to hire an entire team. It’s not costly and effective. 😉

💻It’s a big leap so you should hire a VA that best suits you and your business. Most people say that you should hire the best but I think the best one sometimes is not what we need especially if they are slightly costly. Hire someone who knows what to do, and someone willing to willing to be taught and undergo training if needed.

❗️Some people are claiming that being a social media manager is like a walk in the park. Anyone can do it, and the tasks are not that hard. Well, I confess in the past I thought so too, but I was gravely wrong.

🤗Before becoming a freelancer, I teach Science to high school students. And I was not knowledgeable that works such as appointment setters, recruiting managers, virtual assistants, and social media managers even exist. Because I falsely believe that it was an easy task so there’s no need to delegate it to anyone. Months later, I took a short course about SMM and intensive training as a virtual assistant, and I tell you, it was not an easy feat.

💻There are a lot of works to be done as a social media manager, and as the audience, we only see the finished product of it without knowing the minuscule works under it, so we unintentionally think that it was an easy feat.

💸Hiring a social media manager may be costly (if you hire me, it won’t be) but it’s an investment that guarantees a large sum of lead sales and organic traffic presently and in the future.

❓There are still employers who are still not that well-informed that a virtual assistant and a social media manager are different. They have different areas of expertise and different fields of work. That’s why today, we are going to differentiate the two of them.

Before I answer what’s the difference between the two of them, let us first dive into the definition of a social media manager and a virtual assistant.

✨What is a virtual assistant? According to BNL media consulting, a virtual assistant is someone who helps your business from a remote location. They take care of a variety of tasks that can include data entry, client follow-ups, email creation, marketing, and more.

✨And a social media manager is someone who oversees everything to do with a client’s social media channels and platforms. When you work with a social media management agency, your business knows that it’s time to allow someone with the experience and expertise to focus on your social media growth.

As you can tell from the explanation above, a social media manager focused on one area of your business and a virtual assistant works in many different areas. A social media manager will have experience in growing social media and will have a different set of skills compared to a virtual assistant.

❓Can’t a VA do social media too?

Maybe. But it does not guarantee that a VA can do social media too, and vice versa. As stated above, a virtual assistant is someone who manages your business, and a social media manager market your business. Though few can do both *cough* Work with France.
