DYD EVALUATION | Emphasizing the memorable experiences and lessons learned during the 13th Diocesan Youth Day in Baybay City, Leyte on July 20-23, 2023, the SPCC-Commission on Youth conducted a Post-Evaluation for the delegates to share their valuable experiences and insights on the momentous event through a group sharing which took place at Salog, Hinunangan on August 6-7, 2023.

With the presence of the Chaplain priest, Rev. Fr. Ricarte Olayvar, the said activity was brought to a successful end as the delegates continue to express their experiences with the other participants.

| ACKNOWLEDGEMENT |

The DYD 2023, sailing with the theme: "Youth in Synodality: Living the Life of Jesus and Mary", inspiringly embarked the SPCC youths to embrace the Catholic Faith with the virtues of Jesus and Mary in unity through the momentous event they had experienced. Thus, in recognition to the success of the 13th Diocesan Youth Day in Baybay City, Leyte on July 20-23, 2023, the youth delegates of the Saint Pedro Calungsod Chaplaincy acclaimed their joy and gratitude to the following personnel who gave their unwavering moral, spiritual, and financial supports to the youths.

Firstly, the SPCC youths wanted to express their overflowing thanksgiving to the Chaplain Priest, Rev. Fr. Ricarte Olayvar, for the exemplary support he had contributed all throughout the journey of the SPCC youths. The SPCC-Commission on Youth would also like to commend their highest gratitude to the kind-hearted and generous individuals who contributed prayers and financial supports for the delegates during the said event. To the SPCC-CoYofficers, for their unending service to lead and provide information for the delegates to ensure that there is safety and warm accommodation in every activity being held. To the kitchen personnel who prepared food for the delegates, partnered with the supports for the youths of Saint John the Baptist Parish, and to the individuals who were at the back of this committee, the SPCC-CoY appreciated and expressed their fullness of acknowledgement. To the transportation personnel and those who are behind the safe travel of the delegates, Hon. Ymard Tocmo from the LGU-Hinunangan, to the LGU of Baybay City, to the PNP (Baybay City Station), traffic enforcers, rescue teams, DYCC officers, and the people who are behind the success of the 13th DYD, we, the SPCC-CoY, were highly pleasured to express gratitude to them.

Your youth delegates cannot contain the joy and happiness on the efforts and supports you had rendered during this annual event. We cannot count the amount you give and we cannot measure how much you had contributed, but we are forever thankful to the Lord, our God, for using you as the instruments to bring the 13th DYD to its success.

SPCC Team Building | Agreed by the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) members and the Chaplain Priest, the Saint Pedro Calungsod Chaplaincy conducted a Team Building Activity which was held at Purok Mamagan, Calag-itan, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte today, July 8, 2023.

The said event was being kicked-off with a Holy Mass which was presided by the Rev. Fr. Ricarte Olayvar, followed by lunch and a series of activities which brought entertainment and lessons for the Chaplain organization constituents.
