First Ever Trail Run! 🏃

Joined the 10km trail run by Tamfaken 50 last week and it was a blast! Didn't expect the deep river trekking but who would've thought that the stairs was the hardest part 😂😭. Feeling the muscle ache after the run but absolutely worth it.

⭕ One of the hardest yet the most enjoyable 3-day hike I ever had! The campsite amenities were neat and complete 💯 and the guides and porters were friendly and helpful! ❤️

⭕ Description on each photo 👀

Mount Hamiguitan is located in the province of Davao Oriental, Philippines. It has a height of 1,620 metres. The mountain and its vicinity has one of the most diverse wildlife populations in the country. 🍃

⭕ First day was the hardest day since we needed to carry our things from jump-off to the campsite. The trail was really challenging, we trailed through rivers, tree roots, stony trails, and muddy trails near the campsite.

⭕Second day was the most enjoyable day. From the campsite, we were able to tour around the mountain. The most memorable place for me that day was the hidden garden which is the last destination for the day.

⭕ Third day and the last! Before descending the mountain, we passed through the 3 peaks of Mt. Hamiguitan! We weren't blessed with a clearing but the fogs, or should I say the clouds 😂, is a different kind of blessing. We didn't suffer the scorching heat of the sun and it was a decent hike.

Overall, Mt. Hamiguitan is a must hike for all hikers! 10 out of 10❗❗❗

This is 𝙏𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙖 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙖 also known as Rosy Trumpet Trees. This can be viewed just along the highway driving from Gensan to Davao. You could also enjoy the perfect view of a beautiful sunset which sets on the other side of the horizon . Small stores where you can buy snacks and drinks are also open on the other side of the road.

The word 'Dinor' is a Bagobo term for Almaciga, an endemic tree species in the Philippines and plenty of them can be seen in this mountain. Standing 1274 meters above sea level and a three to four hours walk to reach the peak.
Mt. Dinor is located in Brgy. Sinoron, Municipality of Sta. Cruz in the province of Davao del Sur, Philippines.

⭕️ We went to Mati, Davao Oriental this weekend to experience Darrporrt and its amazing Riverside camp, and we also went to Pujada Island to be mesmerized by its beautiful white sand and clear waters.
