What is addiction??

KARMA FAVORS THE DILIGENT: FACING COVID-19 AFTERMATH WASTE MANAGEMENT TO COMBAT CLIMATE CRISIS
With COVID-19's enormous effects on the world came a rise in the amount of medical waste.
In a recent article by the World Health Organization (WHO), advocating for improvements in the manufacturing and disposal of medical items, medical waste is posing its own risks to both human and environmental health.
Since the start of this pandemic, there has been a lot of evidence suggesting that the increase in biomedical waste was harmful to human health and the environment. The volume of biomedical waste was also steadily increasing along with the rise in COVID-19 cases around the world.
Worldwide shipments of more than 140 million test kits might result in 2,600 tonnes of general garbage, the majority of it plastic, and 731,000 liters of chemical waste, according to the analysis.
Waste produced by healthcare facilities, medical labs, and biomedical research institutes is referred to as health care waste. By exposing waste pickers, workers, patients, and the population at large to infectious pathogens, improper waste management seriously increases the risk of disease transmission.
The emergence of discussions regarding the dangers of medical waste arose in the second part of the 20th century. The issue emerged as a result of identification of several infectious diseases that threatened to spread epidemics throughout humanity.
Negligent waste management releases hazardous and destructive toxins into society. Yet, due to the volume of waste produced and its infectious nature, infection of highly contagious organisms like viruses such as Coronavirus disease or COVID-19 has created considerable instability in healthcare waste treatment and subsequent recycling.
The most prevalent issues with health-care waste include a lack of knowledge about the health risks associated with it, poor training in proper waste management, a lack of waste management and disposal systems,
