Boston Cream Pie Fudge
A decadent, no-bake treat that captures the essence of the classic dessert.
Ingredients:
Vanilla Fudge Layer:
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate Ganache Layer:
1 cup heavy cream
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Make the Vanilla Fudge Layer:
Combine Ingredients: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and vanilla extract.
Melt and Mix: Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.
Spread the Fudge: Pour the fudge into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and spread evenly.
Make the Chocolate Ganache Layer:
Heat the Cream: In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Melt the Chocolate: Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth and glossy.
Spread the Ganache: Pour the ganache over the cooled vanilla fudge layer and spread evenly.
Chill and Serve:
Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Cut and Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy!
Tips:
For a richer flavor, use high-quality white chocolate chips.
To make the fudge extra smooth, use a double boiler to melt the chocolate chips.
For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips for the ganache.
