Psychologist says:

1. Kapag matagal matulog ang isang tao, minsan malalim ang lungkot nya. Marami siyang iniisip. Maraming bumabagabag sa kanya kaya mas gusto nyang itulog nalang ang lahat.

2. Kapag madami siyang pagkain na kinain, minsan, it means stress siya. Minsan naman sobrang saya. Makikita mo paraan ng pagkain niya at sa kanyang mga mata kung stress, lungkot o saya. Kapag niyaya ka nyang samahan mo siya mag food trip, samahan mo.

3. Kapag naman nagagalit siya kahit sa maliit na bagay, means gusto niya ng aruga, bigyan siya ng pansin, unawain at gusto nyang mahalin siya ng mga tao.

4. Kapag naman OA or malakas syang tumawa, minsan ang ibig sabihin nito ay malungkot siya deeply. Idinadaan niya nalang sa tawa ang lungkot.

"Be observant sa mga taong nakakausap or nakakahalubilo mo. Kamustahin mo lagi ang mga mahal mo sa buhay."

A violinist played for 45 minutes in the New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist raised about $30 in tips.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars. And two days before he played in the subway, with again not many people appreciating his skills .

Joshua Bell sold out a Boston theatre, and the seats averaged about $100.

The experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued.

There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who aren’t receiving the recognition and reward they deserve. But once they arm themselves with value and confidence and remove themselves from an environment that isn’t serving them, they thrive and grow.

Your gut is telling you something. Listen to it if it’s telling you where you are isn’t enough!

Go where you are appreciated and valued.

JOY

Joy does not arrive with a fanfare,
on a red carpet strewn with the flowers of a perfect life.

Joy sneaks in, as you pour a cup of coffee,
watching the sun hit your favourite tree, just right.

And you usher joy away,
because you are not ready for it.
Your house is not as it must be,
for such a distinguished guest.

But joy cares nothing for your messy home,
or your bank-balance,
or your waistline, you see.

Joy is supposed to slither through the cracks of your imperfect life,
that’s how joy works.

You cannot invite her, you can only be ready when she appears.

And hug her with meaning,

because in this very moment,

joy chose you.

THERE WILL BE SOME VERY PAINFUL MOMENTS IN YOUR LIFE

There will be some very painful moments in your life my friend.
There will be moments, days even,
when the sun doesn’t seem to rise in your sky
and the breath feels sucked right out of your lungs.
When food has no taste, the world has no joy
and everything seems like an effort too far.
Yes, my friend, there will be very painful moments in your life.

But you will get through them,
‘This too shall pass.’
Because life has a way of throwing you a rope,
just at the very moment when you thought,
you couldn’t swim another stroke.
All you have to do is grab it.

And one day, as is the way of this life,
the sun will suddenly beat down on your face again
and the air will feel fresher than it ever did.
And there will be laughter.
And love.
And joy.
So much joy.
And life will be sweet, like summer after a long winter.
A winter that was so dark each colour that appears,
feels like the first time you are seeing it.

This is when you must live, really live.

For, just as the bad times do not last forever,
neither do the good,
‘This too shall pass.’
But that is life.
So, embrace the joy when it comes and let fear slide away.
And when the dark times come around again,
and they will,
remember you have what you need to survive.
And you will survive my friend, you really will.

Keep the important people close,
focus on what truly matters
and you will find yourself dragged to safety,
each and every time the storms come.

And on those days,
when your sun is high in the sky
but you notice another facing bad weather,
you drop your raft and you go to them.
And if they won’t climb in with you, to safety,
you simply stay with them in the stormy water,
till the sun rises again.
And it will.
it always does.
