Closing the Season with Joy: SPCS' Final Gift-Giving Event in Alaminos

Alaminos, Laguna - The warm glow of the chapel lights illuminated the faces of the residents of Brgy. San Agustin, Sitio Ilaya, Alaminos, Laguna, as San Pablo Christian School Inc. celebrated their last day of gift-giving on December 16, 2025. The students and faculty came together to spread joy and kindness, bringing smiles to the faces of the locals and showcasing the school's dedication to serving the community.

The event kicked off with a beautiful doxology by Elijah Reign Gesmundo, setting a reverent tone for the morning. Xylem Nash Aรฑaveza followed with a heartfelt opening prayer, lifting up the hearts of those gathered. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and excitement as Lyka Pondevida, the master of ceremonies, welcomed everyone to the special occasion.

Brother Kevin Ticzon stood up, his warm smile and gentle voice captivating the audience. "Every time Christmas comes, Jesus is always searching for you," he began, his words echoing with meaning. "In the hustle and bustle of life, we often forget the true meaning of Christmas. But Jesus never forgets us. He is always searching for us, seeking to bring us closer to Him, to bring us joy, peace, and love." The crowd listened intently as he shared a powerful message of hope and redemption, reminding them that Christmas is a time for love, kindness, and generosity.

As Brother Kevin finished speaking, the chapel erupted in applause, with many nodding in agreement, moved by his words. The students and faculty then proceeded to distribute gifts to the residents, bringing smiles to the faces of children and adults alike. The air was filled with laughter and joy, a true reflection of the Christmas spirit.

The gift-giving program was a heartwarming reflection of San Pablo Christian School Inc.'s commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around them. The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to Sir Bonnifacio Ilag, Ma'am Lorena Valderama, and Ma'am Criselda Endozo for their unwavering support and guidance in making this event possible. (SPCS) hosted a successful and heartwarming gift-giving program. The event, a true reflection of the school's commitment to service and generosity, brought smiles and renewed hope to the local community. The morning began on a reverent note with an opening prayer led by Coline Bencito, setting a peaceful and thankful atmosphere that prepared hearts for the day's blessings.

The community gathering was graced by the presence of local leaders, who shared words of encouragement and appreciation. A warm and inspiring opening message was delivered by the representative of the Sangguniang Barangay, Mrs. Edilyn Rubang, who lauded SPCS for their continuous efforts to reach out and share blessings with the residents, emphasizing the importance of community partnership during the holiday season. โ€ŽThe Gift-Giving Program of San Pablo Christian School at Brgy. San Diego was a truly meaningful and heartwarming experience. The program was hosted by Tracie Gillian Marasigan from Grade 12 HUMSS and began with an opening prayer led by Janah De Veza, setting a peaceful and thankful atmosphere for everyone.

โ€ŽWe were blessed with inspiring messages from Brgy. Chairman Jeric Caguite and Bro. Jun Tan, Pastor of the San Diego Church of Christ, who shared John 3:16 and reminded us that Christmas is a celebration of Godโ€™s greatest gift. Their words encouraged us to give not just material things, but also compassion, kindness, and hope.

โ€ŽThe event was made more special through a heartfelt special number and an audio-visual presentation prepared by Grade 12 HUMSS, showcasing the spirit of unity, service, and generosity. San Pablo City, December 12, 2025 โ€” The Grade 11 students from the ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and GAS (General Academic Strand) strands successfully completed their Research Proposal at San Pablo Christian School, Inc. (SPCS) from December 9 to 12, 2025.

This activity marks a critical stage in their research journey, where they formally defended the significance, design, and methodology of their chosen studies.

Over the four-day period, students demonstrated their readiness and intellect in discussing their research problems, objectives, and data-gathering plans. Their proposals covered various contemporary issues relevant to their respective strands, reflecting a deep understanding of the current social and economic landscape.

The Proposal sessions were strengthened by the presence of respected and seasoned panelists. They provided valuable feedback, constructive criticism, and insightful questions that further challenged and guided the young researchers.

This is the crucial foundation for their Final Research Manuscript, which is expected to bring new and meaningful knowledge.

The Junior High Supreme Student Government (SSG) students and teachers of San Pablo Christian School Inc. (SPCSI) packed gifts on December 9, 2025, to prepare for the schoolโ€™s upcoming Gift-Giving Program. They worked together to organize clothes and food that will be given to families this Christmas season.

Throughout the day, the students sorted the items carefully and checked each bag to make sure it was complete. They ensured that the packages contained food, clothes, and simple treats for children. Their teamwork helped make the process smooth and organized.

The SSG students and teachers of the SPCSI were reminded of the true spirit of the season. Sharing blessings, showing love, and spreading joy. Their hard work proved that even simple efforts can brighten someoneโ€™s Christmas.

The Grade 12 HUMSS students and teachers of San Pablo Christian School (SPCS) held a community mapping activity on December 8, 2025. The mapping was done in San Nicolas, Brgy. San Agustin in Alaminos, and San Diego to invite people to the upcoming Gift Giving Program.

The activity was done to reach some household and inform them about the event. The students were guided by their teachersโ€”Mr. Ruel R. Baylon and Mr. Adrian C. Ortiguerra in San Nicolas, Mr. Bonifacio R. Ilag in San Agustin, and Ms. Lorena B. Valderama with Ms. Criselda B. Endozo in San Diego.

Several barangay officers also assisted, including Janice Lat, Edilyn Rubang, Mary Jane Umali, Konsehala Rachelle A. Alcantara, Richard Comia, Apollo Azaรฑa, and Teodoro Daite. Their support helped the students reach more families in each area.

During the activity, the students visited homes to give invitation tickets and list the names of the residents who wished to attend. This ensured that the community members were properly informed about the upcoming event.

The Gift Giving Program aims to provide small necessities to selected families in San Nicolas, San Agustin, and San Diego. The students and teachers prepared this project to extend kindness and support to different barangays. Through this effort, they hope to make a simple but meaningful impact on the community.

San Pablo City, December 5, 2025 โ€” Students from 12-ABM of San Pablo Christian School, Inc. successfully completed their Work Immersion program at Avon San Pablo Philippines this morning at Greenwich Ultimart. The students were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication and active participation.

The participants include: Terence Ramos, Selwyn John Belen, Von Edwin Rowello, Ryan Medel, MJ Concepcion, Jhaylie Barquin, Carl Planillo, Mark Nhowell Panganiban, Kim Loraine Allana, Luis Lawrance Exconde, Nickson Ticzon, and Senando Rivera.

Highlighting the program, the Top 3 Sales Performers were recognized: Jhaylie Barquin, MJ Concepcion, and Terence Ramos for their outstanding performance and hard work.

The program was supervised by Avon representatives: Mam Erliza Mabilangan, Advance Unit Manager; Edralin Ramil, Advance Unit Manager; Maureen Perez, Executive Leader; and Ofelia Halos, Unit Manager.

Attending teachers from San Pablo Christian School, Inc. included Maโ€™am Criselda Endozo, Sir Ruel Baylon, and Sir Bonifacio R. Ilag, who supported and encouraged the students throughout the program.

The Work Immersion program is a crucial component of the Senior High School curriculum, designed to provide students with practical knowledge and skills essential for their future careers.

โ€œThis activity showcases the excellence, diligence, and dedication of our students,โ€ said Sir Bonnie Ilag. โ€œWe are extremely proud of their achievements during this program.โ€
