As we commemorate the 163rd Birth Anniversary of our highly esteemed Brother Jose Rizal, remember these three things:

He prioritized Education in his Youth.

Arriving at Manhood, he was enriched with Enlightenment.

Though he did not reached Old Age, his sacrifice led to Equilibrium that gave birth to the Filipino Nation.

Let there be more Men in the Light, and let there be more Light among Masons.

As our Muslim Brothers around the world begin their celebration of the four-day Feast of the Sacrifice that is Eid al-Adha, let us ponder on the Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son, Ismail, as recounted in the Quran.

As we commemorate the 126th Anniversary of the Declaration of our Independence, let us reflect on the values of Heroism, Patriotism, and Nationalism viz-a-viz the frameworks of Education, Enlightenment, and Equilibrium.

Our Fraternity has instilled in each Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft, and Master Mason the Cardinal Virtues of Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, and Justice; added Faith, Hope and Charity;
PLUS the tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

Each MASON has been tempered with our Obligations, Working Tools, Degree Lectures, and Ancient Masonic Charges.

Cementing them with our National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, and our very own Tribute to the Flag is enough to awaken every Hero, Patriot, and Nationalist in each of us.
