Gooodmorning mga clients!😇
I bought this ₱430 coffee yesterday para lang malaman ko bakit sya ganun ka mahal. 😂
I was expecting na marereceive ko sya in a tall glass just like in the menu photo, pero it came in a plastic cup na very similar sa mga ginagamit ng most coffee shops.
The taste was also "ok". Walang anything special about it FOR ME😅 I'm not a coffee enthusiast but just comparing it to the many coffee shops na napuntahan ko na.
I expected way more. But the thing is, I'm not mad. Well, I'm mad dun sa friend ko na nagpilit pumunta dito. 😂
As a marketer, I understand how a high price point can mean different things.
This coffee shop has a target market - people who can spend a minimum of ₱300 for their cup of coffee.
Customers are not just paying for the coffee itself, but for the experience they get. The place is really nice as it's in the middle of Tagaytay. Tahimik and exquisite yung view talaga!
I don't know but maybe the ingredients are really sophisticated. Di lang sya maarok ng taste buds ko. 😂
And many other possible reasons.
You see how I'm making an excuse for this shop even if ako mismo na customer hindi natuwa sa ininom ko? 🤣
To quote one of my favorite books, $100M Offers by Alex Homomzi:

As a service provider and business owner, this applies to me as well.
At sa'yo, if you're someone who offers your service or product in exchange for money:
Don't focus on how much you will price it and worse, price lower just because "baka walang bumili" or "walang mag avail ng service ko".
Price your service or product based on the value that you can provide to your target market.
Kaya nga may mga brands na sobrang mahal ng price point. Yet, a lot of people still buys from them.
Yung iba nga pag iipunan pa ng malupit eh. Sila din yung magiging happy na binili nila yung offer mo.
Pansin mo yung mga kuripot, sila pa yung mahirap kausap. 🤣
The right people will happily pay for what you can offer. 😊
