Grade 12 Learners Experience Real-World Work

To enhance practical learning and prepare students for the real-world challenges of their future careers, Grade 12 learners of Sangbay IS participate in an exciting immersion program.

This activity, designed to give HUMSS students exposure to various industries, held at the various offices of LGU Nagtipunan, while TVL learners are having their training at Ilagan City and Dipintin HS offering invaluable experiences outside the traditional classroom environment.

The immersion program aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, allowing students to explore career fields such as healthcare, engineering, business, agriculture and technology.

"By offering learners this immersive experience, we’re helping them make informed decisions about their future paths," said Dr. Irene D. Corpuz, school head of Sangbay IS.

Sangbay IS students shine in BIDA Dance Challenge, Poster Making Contest

NAGTIPUNAN, Quirino– Sangbay IS recently participated in the Drug Abuse Prevention and Cintrol Week- BIDA dance challenge and poster making contest, organized by LGU Nagtipunan with the aim in promoting anti-drug awareness and creativity among Filipino youth.

Held on January 17, the event drew enthusiastic participation from students across the municipality.

The BIDA dance challenge tested students' knowledge on drug prevention and control, while the poster making contest showcased their artistic talents in conveying anti-drug messages.

Sangbay IS dance troupe emerged as champion in the BIDA dance challenge while Joshua Gerardo awarded as 3rd place in poster making.

"Sangbay IS is committed to nurture informed and engaged citizens," Dr. Irene D. Corpuz, school head, said.

"We commend our students' dedication to this noble cause," she added.

The BIDA dance challenge and poster making contest successfully promoted drug awareness and artistic expression among Filipino youth.

Sangbay IS congratulates all participants and coaches, encouraging continued advocacy for a drug-free Philippines.

It’s 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆!

Today, we commemorate and honor the National Flag of our country. The national emblem was first unfurled after the Philippine Revolutionary Army defeated the Spanish forces in the Battle of Alapan at Imus, Cavite in 1898.

The Philippine Flag represents the identity of the Filipinos. It symbolizes unity and reminds us of our shared heritage and values, and our Flag is a powerful reminder of our ancestors’ struggle for independence and sovereignty.

In line with the celebration of 2024 Month of the Ocean, Sangbay Integrated School Senior High School Department joins the Department of Environment and Natural Resources- Community Environment and Natural Resources Office-Nagtipunan, Quirino in the conduct of Clean-up Drive along Cagayan River at Sangbay, Nagtipunan, Quirino, Monday, May 20.

Along with the department's advocacy on the implementation of Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004 (RA 9275), the activity also aims to protect the country's water bodies from various pollution caused by industries and commercial establishments, agricultural and community or household activities.
