Our continuous support for QCShorts over the years extends this year to a few entries in competition and in exhibition. And for the first time in the QCinema Project Market, two companies, T6 and Barebones Color, are collaborating in a post production grant for one deserving project in the QPM.

For its 25th anniversary, San Diego Asian Film Festival has selected Jonathan Jurilla’s LOVE CHILD to be part of its Asia Pop! section. Featuring Jane Oineza and RK Bagatsing, and introducing John Tyrron Ramos, this is the international premiere of the film.

From the film festival’s Zaza Nguyen, “More than just a romantic comedy, LOVE CHILD is a joyful celebration of imperfect love and the unpredictable journey of raising a family. It’s a tribute to parents everywhere who embrace the unknown, persevere through the chaos, and choose love – every single day.”

San Diego Asian Film Festival is “the largest exhibition of Asian cinema in the western United States”. The festival will run from November 7 to 16, 2024. Here is the film’s screening schedule:

At the start of the year, we joined the unfolding of WAF Studios—a breakthrough that brought us closer to production, strengthening our presence on the international stage with its projects. With our doors open for more fruitful collaborations, this year’s projects nailed it all—from streaming globally, beating the box office, to gaining recognition both locally and internationally. More and more productions have experienced the efficiency of our all-in-one services.
