Who is Attorney Rocky Thomas Balisong ( Brave Rock) of the Bantag Case?

Atty. Balisong is from Sagada, Mt. Province.
Active student leader in various positions. He was also a professor then at the BCF and UB college of law before he entered the local political arena.
A former number 1 Councilor of Baguio but as a turn of opportunities, he ran his Law Firm now together with his junior lawyers in the same chosen field.

When Atty. Balisong was asked why did he choose to accept the said case of suspended BuCor Chief Gerald Bantag, and he answered us straightforwardly:
He is my FRIEND. I know him since our College years and I know that He (Bantag) is INNOCENT.

Balisong also added during a face-to-face chit-chat mode under a sweet smoothies drinks in the City of Pines that he may not be afraid of his safety but he is surely scared of his Children's safety that even his Siblings are very much concerned for him.

Every Law Firm may be interested in this Shotgun Fame of a Case under a new Administration at that and Balisong may be enjoying all of the public and mass stream media attention but he became cautious and careful of his surroundings too, he said.

When he was asked the last question by a concerned friend, How do you think this case will turn into?
Balisong said confidently that Gerald BANTAG will be ACQUITTED and that the Case will be DISMISSED.

And if Atty. Rocky Thomas Balisong will be given a chance to take this case again in another lifetime with no doubt he will represent Bantag again.
As Bantag is a FRIEND who personally asked him; he replied.

After all, a Full Blooded Igorot never backs down from a fight that is worth echoing the Blood of Ancestors cries out of FREEDOM.

A Chinese kidnap victim was rescued through the intensified presence of the Batangas City Police Station personnel. This ended her 20-day ordeal in the hands of her abductors, PNP Chief, Police General Rodolfo S Azurin Jr. announced.

Azurin said, according to the woman’s Chinese boyfriend, in a statement given to PNP-AKG investigators, the 28-year old victim (name withheld) was last seen on the night of September 16 at the Hammer Disco Light Club, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City with her friend (name withheld). However, at 12:24 AM on September 17, 2022, they were both seen leaving the premises of the building and went to an unknown location.

On September 18, 2022, an unknown caller called up victim’s boyfriend asking for money amounting to Two Million US Dollars (Php 116,000,000.00) and sent a video clip of the victim while being hit with a baseball bat in different parts of her body.

The Batangas City Police Station (BCPS), PRO4A was able to rescue the victim at a convenience store in Brgy. Alangilan, Batangas City. Further in coordination with the PNP AKG, BCPS Operatives responded to the report and was able to pinpoint the exact location where the victim was held by her kidnappers in Nueva Villa Subdivision Alangilan, Batangas City.

Some suspects are already identified and are now the subject of follow-up operations, the Chief PNP said.

The victim is now under the custody of the PNP AKG for proper investigation and documentation.

With the strong dedication of our PNP Units, to put an end to these kidnapping incidents, the PNP guarantees the intensified monitoring and security of our community against kidnapping gangs.
"Kaligtasan Nyo, Sagot Ko”, the PNP aspires to stop kidnapping in the country with the active support of the community, Azurin said.

Almost 3,500 job vacancies in 131 government agencies will be offered at the Government Online Career Fair (GOCF) organized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in partnership with online job search portal, JobStreet. The fair will take place from 19 to 23 September 2022.

“Vacancies with the minimum qualification standards and application requirements will be posted for the duration of the GOCF. Applicants from the Philippines or even those overseas who are interested to pursue a career in the civil service may participate by submitting their applications online to their selected agencies,” explained CSC Chairperson Karlo A. B. Nograles.

Some of the vacancies that job seekers can apply to are guidance counselors, administrative aides and officers, revenue officers, engineers, midwives, planning officers, project development officers, nurses, instructors, accountants/auditors, executive assistants, information technology officers, among others.

The jobseeker must have an account with JobStreet.com. If the jobseeker has no account, he or she must create one by accessing the 2022 GOCF Microsite at http://jobstreet.com.ph/GOCF.

The jobseeker need only to input the email address and click on the "Create your Personal Data Sheet (PDS)" button.

Once registered, the jobseeker may now access the GOCF Microsite, where the Virtual Hirer’s Booth of participating government agencies may be found. Each Virtual Hirer’s Booth contains the available jobs in the agency and has a chat facility to give jobseekers quick access to ask questions or be interviewed on the spot.

Jobseekers can even chat directly with DOLE and PhilHealth regarding their programs and services in the GOCF Microsite.

The agency shall conduct the initial assessment and notify the job applicants through email or text message the status of the application and/or additional instructions or requirements to be complied by the applicant.
