Our VMC Phoenix Basketball Team went head-to-head with two of the league’s toughest opponents this past weekend.

Game 1:

Opponent: Word of Wisdom Christian Academy
Score: 52-64

Game 2:

Opponent: Mother of Perpetual Help School
Score: 62-90

While the scores may not reflect our team’s full potential, we’re proud of every player who stepped onto the court. These games have provided invaluable experience that will undoubtedly fuel our growth.

Our VMC Phoenix College Basketball had a thrilling weekend!

VMC recently joined ALL STAR Basketball League. Though we fell short in our first game against JNATS (98-83), we bounced back strong and secured a victory over Mix and Match (83-67).

We’re incredibly proud of our players and coaches for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts have made us soar high!

𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙭 𝙎𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙊𝙇𝙁𝙐!

Our VMC Phoenix basketball team proved that heart and hustle can overcome any obstacle! Despite facing a towering OLFU team at the Mercedarian School, our players gave it their all and emerged victorious with a final score of 54-60.

Our team's quickness and agility were the keys to our success. We may have been the underdogs, but our determination to win shone through!

Our young swimmers made a splash at our 2nd swimming session, held at the serene St. Charbel Executive Village!

It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and lots of splashing! Our talented Basic Education students showcased their skills and built their confidence in the water.

Last Saturday, we made a splash with the first session of our brand-new swimming club! 💦 It’s a historic moment for Villagers Montessori College as we dive into a new era of aquatic excellence.

Watch out, pool! Our young swimmers are ready to make waves and reach new heights. With dedication, hard work, and a whole lot of fun, we’re aiming to form a formidable varsity swimming team in the future.

𝙄𝙎𝘼𝘼𝙇 𝙌𝘾 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩: 𝙑𝙈𝘾 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙭 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙖 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜

The VMC Phoenix Badminton Team had a commendable performance at the ISAAL QC Wing Tournament! Our talented athletes showcased their skills and brought home several medals.

Here's a breakdown of our team's achievements:

Women's Singles: 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗼 reached the Finals Round, securing a Silver Medal.

Women's Doubles: 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗳 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘇
and 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 also made it to the Finals Round, winning Silver Medals.

Men's Singles: 𝗞𝗲𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶 𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝘆𝘂𝗸𝗶 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘀 fought hard in the Qualifiers, earning a Bronze Medal.

Men's Singles: 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗶 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻 reached the Finals Round, claiming a Silver Medal.

Men's Doubles: 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿 and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 competed in the Qualifiers.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡: VMC battled hard against HIMC Team A in the ISAAL tournament, but fell short by 10 points. Every player on our team saw valuable minutes, and we couldn't be prouder of their effort and sportsmanship. Our current standing is 0-1, but we're determined to keep fighting and improve with each game.

𝙑𝙈𝘾 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙭 𝙁𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙁𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙨𝙨

The VMC Phoenix basketball team put up a valiant effort against the Holy Infant Montessori Center team B in their second I-TAMS game, but ultimately fell short by a narrow margin. Despite a strong showing, the Phoenix couldn't secure the victory, losing 80-77.

The team showcased their determination and skill throughout the game, battling back from deficits and making key plays. While the final score may not reflect their effort, the Phoenix proved they are capable of competing at a high level.

As they continue their season, the VMC Phoenix will look to build on their performance and strive for even greater success.
