ICYMI: President Duterte approves September 13 as start of SY 2021-2022 in all public schools nationwide.

𝗦𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗯𝘂𝗯𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮

Hulyo 16, 2021 - Ipinababatid ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) na inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang Setyembre 13, 2021 bilang unang araw ng Taong Panuruan 2021-2022 sa mga pampublikong paaralan, mula sa mga inirekomendang petsa ni Kalihim ng DepEd Leonor Magtolis Briones.

Ipinaabot namin ang aming pasasalamat sa Pangulo sa kaniyang buong suporta sa paghahatid ng dekalidad na edukasyon sa darating na taong panuruan sa porma ng blended learning.

Ilalabas naman namin ang school calendar para sa SY 2021-2022 sa lalong madaling panahon. Umaasa kami sa patuloy na pakikiisa at suporta ng aming stakeholders habang tayo ay naghahanda sa panibagong mga hamon ngunit napakahalagang hakbangin upang turuan ang ating mga kabataan sa gitna ng pangdaigdigang krisis sa kalusugan.

Tomorrow, we will kick start our year with a not to be missed opportunity for our writers.

An NSPC 2019 winner and a BS Economics student at the University of the Philippines Diliman—meet our resource speaker for Feature Writing, Mr. Ray Justine Villanueva!

Ray Justin A. Villanueva is a feature writer from the Division of Cavite Province. He has been an active campus journalist since 2012 with his debut in press cons giving him a 13th place feat on the DSPC 2012. He then competed on 2013 DSPC ending up with a 4th place record advancing him to the Regional Levels. Then, as he stepped into the secondary level, he continued his feature feat by joining the Collaborative Publishing - English and Filipino on his 7th and 8th grade. He came back to the individual contests as a contender in Feature Writing English last DSPC 2016 winning the 4th place and eventually conquered the Regional levels winning 5th place.

He continued his journey being the 14th place on DSPC 2017, Champion during the DSPC 2018 and 3rd place during the DSPC 2019. He advanced to the Regional Levels last 2019 and finished as the Champion of RSPC 2019 and eventually the 2nd Place during the NSPC 2019.

Apart from being a campus journalist, Villanueva is also an active student leader and consistent honor student in his alma mater.
