This checklist hit me like a tonne of bricks. I remember it so clearly, it was a Monday the very first moment I started channeling my inner Socia Media Manager and I'd been struggling with the misconceptions on how to Engage on Instagram in the right way.

So, here's a checklist for you and use this as a guide to boost your engagement for your account's growth.

✔️ Post Reels not to go viral but to help people. - As a service provider it is always important that we deliver the needed pieces of information that solve every problem of our target market.

✔️ Do what people love, not with what the algorithm loves. - It is very important that we always deliver content that every reached person can relate to.

✔️ Account must be a sustainable business - It is not always necessary whether your account is verified or not, as long as you offer the services that your audience needs, you're valid.

✔️ Build a relationship, not just an empire with 10k following - This may take time and effort but getting to know our audiences better also increases the opportunity for newsrooms to serve content that is more reflective and representative of the people we want to become more.
