HAPPY NATIONAL SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS WEEK!

The celebration facilitated by the STEM OFFICERS coordinated by Mrs. Nurhida A. Julbasari-Alih on Oct. 7. 2023 was a success and filled with brain-racking and exciting games and educational lectures about Environmental Awareness and Mathematics.

The success of the event was all thanks to the approval and encouragement of the SHS Director, Dr. Norman A. Abdurahman. And to the esteemed lecturers, Mrs. Narsima A. Sabbaha (Science) and Ms. Dermayna A. Jamar (Mathematics), who gave meaning to the event.

And a huge appreciation to the participants who actively showcased their knowledge and cooperations. The event started from 8 A.M until 12 P.M.

MSU-SULU SENIOR HIGH CELEBRATES NATIONAL TEACHERS' MONTH

JUST IN| The MSU-SULU SENIOR HIGH faculty joined the celebration of National Teachers' Month, to commemorate and acknowledged our faculties ever so constant perseverance towards in teaching the senior high department's student. The event was held on September 28 and 30, 2023 in the MSU -SULU Gymnasium.

On September 28, 2023 afternoon, the Opening Ceremony was held. Faculties of each department were present to welcome the celebration of the Teachers' Month. As approved by our Chancellor: Prof. Nadger J. Abdurahman, the celebration was commenced. The flow celebration consists of parlor games and series of intermissions, where faculties of different departments were encouraged to participate, and enjoy. The Classroom Officers of each section and strand were motivated to take part the second day celebration, to showcase their heartfelt and unending support towards their teachers.

On September 30, 2023, the second day of celebrating the National Teachers' Month. The morning event consists of Ball games and Walkathon. Teachers of different department compete with each other to fight for first place. The highlight of the day was the afternoon event, various students attended the program. The afternoon program where teachers participate in parlor games. Series of intermissions were also showcased during the event, like roleplaying, singing, and dancing. The endless stream of support lightened the event as teachers performed their numbers. Students also took the opportunity to surprise their advisers, with handmade flowers and letters as a form of a gift. The delighted teachers were indeed moved by their students efforts and time.

As the event closes to the end, various faculty members of MSU-SULU were awarded, due to their contribution to the program. At the end of the event winners of each competition were acknowledged and awarded, with the outstanding and talented individuals of our faculty, the Senior High department won second place in the Teachers' Got Talent.

And as of that National Teachers' Month is not all to show love for our teacher, but for them to experience fun and amusement, as to relieve stress due to unending duties a one teacher holds. It is also to remind that it is ok to rest and have fun for a while.

Once again, HAPPY TEACHERS' MONTH!!

Researchers from UP Mindanao headed by Miss Maybelle Fortaleza, conducting a lecture activity that centers the Diversity Species of Reef Fishes in Sulu and Celebes Sea and its importance on August 25, 2023.

The research program aims to explore the rich marine treasure of the Philippines, the center of the center of marine shore fish biodiversity.

Many thanks to the respective lecturers from UP Mindanao and MSU-TCTO, as well as the participation of the selected Grade 12 Students from MSU-Sulu SHS STEM and GAS strands.
