What's up Kabataang Pilipino!
The Department of Education-Office of the Assistant Secretary for Operations, through the Bureau of Learner Support Services-Youth Formation Division (BLSS-YFD), in collaboration with the External Partnerships Service will launch a celebration of International Youth Day on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Tanghalang Rizal, Pasig City.
Observed every year on August 12, the IYD offers a platform to honor the qualities of youth and the potential that they hold towards development of a nation and the world as a whole.
This year, the Department seeks to gather selected learners, youth leaders, and education stakeholders with diverse backgrounds from different secondary institutions within Metro Manila and nearby local communities/regions.
Hosted by the Schools Division Office of Pasig City, the said gathering will allow the learner participants the opportunity to learn not only from the key national and international speakers and activities but also learn by engaging with one another, especially understanding different cultures across regions, and widening global perspectives through international exposures and experiences.
With youth and aged working together, we can create a better and livable world for all!
