Today I was able to shoot for Feast Bicutan. I used a 50mm f/1.8 and edited it in Lightroom and applied my Fujicolor C200 film preset which I normally don't do for my Sunday service photos.

I'm not 100% sold on using it yet for such but what the heck. This is me and it's time to make my style known. 🥰

Trying a Kodak Portra 160 film simulation recipe I saw. The settings were made for a Ricoh GRiii but I tried adapting it to my Canon 100D.

In case you wanna try it, here's the recipe.

Saturation +3
Hue -1
HL Key +3
Contrast -1
Contrast H +2
Shadow -3
Sharpness 0
Shading 0
Clarity 0 (or -4 for nostalgic look)
White balance shade is at G3 A3

Exposing is up to you but I suggest over exposing a bit. Maybe 1 or 2 stops would do.

While I haven't used Ilford's XP Super 400 yet, I was able to do a little research on sample photos taken with this film stock. It has strong blacks and really noticeable grain giving pictures taken with it a lot of character and texture. Something
has done so precisely with their film simulation of the XP Super 400.

Went out for a walk last night and spent some time at a nearby cafe called Hombre Brew . I brought my camera to take more photos to try the different film simulations by Dehancer . This time around, I tried Agfa Agfacolor 100 and the colors are just vivid enough that it makes each photo treatment beautiful.

It's been a dull week and a half. Aside from catching up on some backlogs, I'm trying to learn new things to improve the services I provide. Here's a quick sample of what I learned in color grading using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019.
