I served as the President of the MSTIP Deaf Supreme Student Council for the academic years 2020–2022

Today, I celebrate not just a graduation, but the incredible support, encouragement, and belief that carried me here. 🎉

To my supportive and beloved family, especially my Mama Leslie Bayo Batadlan, Papa Norlan Batadlan, and Tito Mayor Abraham Bagasin, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for your continuous kindness, love, and support. Thank you for being one of the reasons why I survived my college journey. 🥰

I would like to extend my gratitude to Makati Science Technological Institute of Philippines for being the avenue for me to grow better as a person from College and also to BTTE Professors Kevin D Bermudo, Danilo Ecat Jr.,Raymond Alfonso, Marla Denise Santiago,Evelyn Dela Fuente, who nourished me with valuable lessons and skills that are beneficial in the future.

To my College Classmate- Brayan Taño, Marie Cris Torres Macainan, Laoaganaris Urbanes, Cyrus Jude Bolga, Christian Joseph Lobas, Geanne Mae Murillo, Jiselle Jash Imperial Sanchez, Sannie Acky, Lea Amor Galario and the rest of the BTTE Batch ‘24, thank you for the laughters and love you shared that kept me sane and driven to continue.

Most Deaf people have limited jobs in the Philippines. They have lack of opportunities to have work to be actors/actresses and lawyers. But despite of that, there are also Deaf who are teachers, drivers, writers and in business ventures. I am Deaf since birth. I don’t like people who discriminated us. I know some Deaf who continue to do their job and inspire more Deaf. I know personally that there are lot of people who help, interpret and assist Deafs. To be honest, I dream to be an actor. But is there a deaf actor? I think none? That is why we use Filipino Sign Language to communicate easily and understand by using gestures, writing or signing to hearing people and most Deafs speak English. I support and admire people giving Deaf people a chance to have a work. I hope for their betterment. Let’s all give all the best of what we have to achieve our dreams in life. Hi Deaf and Hearing Community! Sign Language Gloves Technology Why the hearing people make gloves sign language technology? Most Deaf will not appreciate that kind of technology . Will it work??? Don't give us that gloves! 🥺 I don't agree to that kind of technology. It is a stupid gimmick because the Deaf community will not like that idea. We don't need gloves, we have our own language to communicate naturally. Please respect Deaf people. Thanks for that invention! But hey! Think first if we might be offended with it!
