THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds are expected over Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, and Batangas within the next 2 hours.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are affecting a portion of Quezon (Buenavista, Catanauan, General Luna, Lopez, Macalelon, Mauban, General Nakar), and Tarlac (San Jose, Capas) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

UPDATE: Lumakas at naging isang Tropical Storm Category na ang bagyong ayon sa PAGASA at ngayo’y nasa bahagi na ng Lucban, ang sentro ng bagyo.

Taglay ngayon ng bagyo ang lakas ng hangin na umaabot sa 65 kph at pagbugsong umaabot sa 110 kph. Kumikilos ito sa direksyong Northwest sa bilis na 15 kph.

Kung mapapanatili ang kasalukuyang ikinikilos ng bagyo, inaasahang babalik na ito sa karagatan ng Philippine Sea at posibleng huling mag-landfall sa bahagi ng Polillo Island sa Quezon Province mamayang hapon o gabi.

Magpapatuloy naman ngayong araw ang masungit na lagay ng panahon sa buong , , ilang bahagi ng , , at ngayong araw dahil sa epekto pa rin ng bagyo at ng unti-unting pag-iral na ng mahinang Habagat o Southwesterly Windflow.

Maging alerto pa rin sa banta ng mga biglaang pagbaha at pagguho ng lupa lalo na sa mga mabababang lugar.

El Nino Bulletin 6: Notice of Supply Interruption and Possible Water Discoloration due to Rerouting of Distribution Lines | May 2, 2024 (9PM to 4AM)

We will be conducting a redistribution of our supply to address the shortage of water sources in Olongapo City on May 2, 2024 (Thursday) from 9PM to 4AM.

Due to the rerouting, water supply, pressure, and/ or quality may be affected in the following areas:

CITY SOUTH: Asinan, Pagasa, Kalalake, East Tapinac, West Tapinac, Ilalim, Kababae, Banicain
- Lower water pressure

EAST BAJAC-BAJAC: Along 18th St., and adjacent secondary streets
- Water discoloration and lower water pressure

EAST BAJAC-BAJAC: Fontaine St.
- No Water Supply (1 HOUR ONLY)

This is to ensure ample supply in these areas as a result of dwindling raw water from sources supplying the Mabayuan Water Treatment Plant.

Flushing will be conducted by our Distribution Team after the rerouting activity, though water discoloration may still occur in customer lines. To address this, simply run your faucet for a few minutes until the water clears.

In addition, kindly allot 1-2 hours (depending on the elevation of your area) for water pressure to build up in the affected areas once the supply redistribution is completed.
