Have you ever struggled with your inner battles?
Have you ever had difficulty in threading paths?
Have you ever fallen in love and got hurt afterward?
Have you ever wanted to say things but couldn't utter them?

All the Things We Wish to Say is a collection of poetry and prose that features three authors' sentiments about life, love, mental health, self-growth, and everything in between.

"We wish to take you on a personal and emotional journey to finding your own words and saying all the things you've always wanted to say but never had the courage to."

If you're in the blues, or you're tickled pink and completely smitten; or you're living your life in color; or you're a poetry enthusiast yourself... then this collection will definitely resonate with you.

Tree

There was a tree in the backyard
leaves green and lush
fruits ripe for the picking.

Every day I'd sit by the window and marvel;
For every leaf, every fruit that falls
feels like a beginning and an end.

A life spent in its entirety in a small backyard,
Yet a life, no doubt, lived to its fullest.

Confused

I cannot understand what I feel:
confused, broken, empty.
I want to go back where my peace is.
Let every confusion and pain be a lesson
I can use it later.

Crushed

The hurting me
hears your goodbye.

The broken me
sighs and utters cry.

The abandoned me
keeps asking why.

Uncertainties are a normal part of life. I’ve long accepted that. But sometimes, these feelings come in waves. Like turbulent currents, threatening to pull me under, making it hard for me to stay afloat.

So I wish for a calm seabed, even if it obscures strong undercurrents, even if it grants a false sense of security. Because I’d rather hold on to what little hope it gives than fight a losing battle.
