Life is an adventure, enjoy it and learn from it.

This defines the life of Diana Molina, known as Yna to her friends and family. Her story is one that showcases the Filipinos’ love for their families. In some cases, Filipinos tend to give up their dreams to prioritise their family's needs. Yna’s story begins when she was torn between pursuing her dreams or financially supporting her family in the Philippines. To achieve both, she moved to Dubai to start a new life and work towards becoming a doctor.

However, she had to give up her dream to provide for her family. Her father suffered a stroke and one of his brothers was still going through college. Adding to her worries were another one of her siblings losing their job and her sister having a hard time finding work in Canada. But, Yna didn’t give up - she decided to work harder to provide more for her family. She tried various jobs and upskilled herself until she became a registered nurse and dental clinical license holder.

With her family as her inspiration, she also got into modeling and joined beauty pageants. Showcasing her beauty and talent, she competed and won several beauty contests in Dubai; like the Glamour Runway La Moda Femina 2018, crowned runner-up in Mutya ng Kasarinlan 2018, and Winner of Ms. Groovz 2020. She also became a brand ambassador for several companies like the Flomic Balikbayan Cargo and Freshrose Ladies Salon.

Yna also tried acting and appeared in a film that won in the 2021 Reels International Film Festival. With her busy schedule, Yna also didn't fail to lend a hand to her kababayans affected by the pandemic. She distributed relief packs with the Filipino community's help.

Although she hasn't achieved her ultimate goal of being a doctor yet, her experiences molded her into a better person. She’s also discovered new skills like vlogging and hosting. Being selfless is never wrong; in fact, it will lead you to more extraordinary things in life, just like Yna's adventure.
