𝗣𝗥𝗢𝟭𝟬’𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛-𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜-𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝟱𝟬𝟵 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦, 𝗦𝗘𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦 𝗣𝟮𝟵.𝟲𝗠 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗨

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – Through intensified law enforcement efforts, Police Regional Office 10 successfully apprehended 509 individuals during a one-month anti-criminality campaign from January 1 to 31, 2025, leading to significant breakthroughs in the fight against illegal drugs, wanted persons, loose fi****ms, and other criminal activities across the region.

PRO10 carried out 240 operations, which led to the arrest of 281 individuals and the confiscation of 4,353.328 grams of shabu, with a total estimated Standard Drug Price of PhP29,603,650.40.

In the heightened campaign against illegal gambling, PRO10 conducted 14 operations, resulting in the apprehension of 46 individuals and the confiscation of PhP23,516.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

In the relentless campaign against wanted persons, PRO10 arrested a total of 178 wanted individuals, which comprised 40 Most Wanted Persons and 138 Other Wanted Persons.

In the battle against loose fi****ms (Kontra Boga), PRO10 conducted 35 operations, resulting in the apprehension of 14 individuals and the confiscation, surrender, or recovery of 34 small arms and five light weapons. Additionally, 564 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, leading to the voluntary surrender of 18 fi****ms for safekeeping.

Furthermore, in the intensified campaign against smuggled ci******es, PRO10 successfully conducted 26 operations, leading to the arrest of 30 individuals and the confiscation of PhP38,903,570.00 worth of smuggled ci******es. A total of 12 cases have been formally filed in court related to these operations.

𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗫 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗬 𝟭𝟱.𝟭𝟭% 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟭𝟬

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) has reported a significant decrease in index crimes across Northern Mindanao, with a 15.11% decline recorded from January 1 to September 24, 2024, compared to the same period last year.

Index crimes, which include theft, r**e, physical injuries, murder, robbery, carnapping of motorcycles, carnapping of motor vehicles, and homicide, were down from 1,714 reported cases in 2023 to 1,455 cases in 2024.

Theft remains the most common index crime, with 477 cases in 2024, down by 69 cases (12.64%) from the previous year. R**e incidents also saw a significant reduction, with 54 fewer cases (14.88%), while physical injuries and murder dropped by 26 (10.40%) and 23 (11.50%) cases, respectively. Robbery incidents dropped by 35.03%, with 62 fewer cases reported. Carnapping of motorcycles saw a 20.21% decline, with 19 fewer cases, while carnapping of motor vehicles and special complex crimes remained steady.

Additionally, the overall number of crimes in the region decreased by 227 incidents, reflecting a 1.99% reduction compared to the same period last year.

Crimes statistics show that the total number of crimes fell from 11,412 in 2023 to 11,185 in 2024, demonstrating the PRO10’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in the region.

“In line with the vision of a safer Northern Mindanao under the ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ initiative, our commitment to ensuring public safety and reducing criminality remains strong. We will continue to work closely with stakeholders and other law enforcement agencies to build a safer and secure environment for all,” he said.

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Personnel of Sultan Naga Dimaporo Municipal Police Station, together with the 2nd PMFC LDN PPO, successfully intercepted nearly PhP10 million worth of smuggled ci******es in an abandoned vehicle along the National Highway in P-4, Mamagum, Sultan Naga Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte, on October 2, 2024.

While mobile patrolling, police discovered an abandoned aluminum white Isuzu wing van with plate number CBR 8610 parked along the roadside.

Upon inspection, the van was found to be loaded with 247 cellophane boxes of assorted brands of smuggled ci******es, with an estimated market value of PhP9,980,000.00.

The confiscated ci******es are now under the custody of the SND MPS, LDN PPO for proper documentation and disposition pending coordination with the Bureau of Customs in Iligan City.

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Personnel from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Misamis Oriental/Camiguin Provincial Field Unit, along with the 103rd Infantry "Haribon" Brigade of the 1st Infantry Division of the Philippine Army and the Regional Intelligence Unit 10, successfully arrested a Top 8 Regional Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Marawi City, Lanao del Sur on October 2, 2024.

The arrested individual, identified by his aliases "Kiram Kuya" and "Mecca," is 36 years old and a resident of Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. He is a member of the Communist Terrorist Group (PSR listed) and holds the position of Deputy Secretary of Platoon Ferrari and Commanding Officer of SROC under Sub-Regional Committee 5, Northern Central Mindanao Regional Committee (SRC-5, NCMRC), as identified in the 3rd Quarter 2023 Periodic Status Report of the 103rd Infantry Brigade.

His role involves serving as the second-in-command to the Secretary. He organizes and oversees the group’s activities and, in the absence of the Secretary, may assume full responsibility.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of R.A. No. 9851, also known as the Philippine Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law, Genocide, and Other Crimes Against Humanity, docketed under Criminal Case No. R-CDO-21-03229-CR, dated January 17, 2022, with no bail bond recommended.

He is now under the custody of CIDG Misamis Oriental PFU for documentation and proper disposition.

PRO10, in coordination with the AFP and other law enforcement agencies, will continue to pursue those who operate outside the law and ensure that they are brought to justice, for the safety and protection of our people,” he said.

CAMP ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City- Police Regional Office 10 (PRO10) successfully apprehended 123 individuals and seized significant amount of illegal drugs in one week law enforcement operations from September 26 to October 2, 2024, regionwide.

In anti-illegal drug campaign, PRO10 conducted 37 operations, resulting in the arrest of 50 individuals and confiscation of 294.666 grams of shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of PhP2,003,729.00.

In anti-illegal gambling, this PRO conducted 20 operations, resulting in the arrest of 27 individuals and confiscation of PhP13,907.00 worth of illegal gambling items.

In neutralizing wanted persons, PRO10 apprehended 45 individuals, including eight Most Wanted Persons and 37 Other Wanted Persons.
In the battle against loose fi****ms (Kontra Boga), PRO10 conducted four operations, resulting in the arrest of one individual and the confiscation/surrender/recovery of four small arms. Approximately 377 house visitations for Revitalized Katok (Bilang Boga) were conducted, resulting in the voluntary surrender of one firearm for safekeeping.
