How can you break the bias on gender?

When we asked 4000+ 5-year-olds “What do you want to be when you grow up?” 👮‍♀️👨‍🎨👩‍🚒👨‍🚀👩‍🎤👨‍🍳we saw that many of their aspirations were linked to their gender

More than 1 in 2 jobs cited by boys were in fields that are traditionally male-dominated, compared to around 1 in 4 for girls

A HISTORIC COMEBACK OF TNHS:

Tinago National High School is one of the public secondary schools in Naga City to have been allowed and approved by DepEd - Region V to conduct the expanded limited face-to-face classes starting today, March 1, 2022.

This morning, approximately 120 fully-vaccinated Junior High School students flocked to the TNHS campus to attend the limited face-to-face classes at TNHS, marking their first day of school after almost two years.

The school's DRRM ensured that all safety protocols were in place and strictly followed. In the classrooms, chairs were arranged such that physical distancing will be practiced. Prior to the class opening, the teachers made sure that classrooms were ready, disinfected, and sanitized.

The school also secured the permission of the students' parents and guardians to allow them to attend classes.

The approval to shift to this learning mode was made after TNHS applied for the said learning modality as COVID-19 restrictions in the city eased to level 1. Barangay Tinago also currently has no COVID-19 positive case.

Ronnel Joseph T. Competente, with Carena Murillo and the rest of the TNHS community, headed the preparations for the school's gradual transition to limited in-person learning.
