In the midst of the stormβHe is not distant. He walks right through the storm, His presence a reminder that nothing is beyond His power.
When fear threatens to overwhelm you, know that the One who calms the storm is walking toward you. He is not bound by the laws of nature. He steps into the chaos and speaks peace where there is none. He will not leave you to face the storm alone.
So, as the winds roar and the storm draws near, remember: In the middle of the storm, your God walks on water. And when He comes near, the waves cannot drown you, the winds cannot destroy you, for He is with you, and that is enough.
Be still. The storm may rage, but you are held. The winds may roar, but His presence is stronger. And in that knowing, you will find an unshakable peace.
