Tuway Travels | Bagong Pilipinas is the vision of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the Filipino people. He started his presidential campaign using the slogan “Pambansang Pagkakaisa,” or national unity. He convinced then Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, daughter of erstwhile President Rodrigo Duterte, to be his running mate, which turned the table in their favor. They both won a landslide victory. He constructed the national unity platform, envisioning a bright and new Philippine society.

Tuway Travels | The Sulu Sea has been a transportation corridor of goods and commodities between East Asia and Southeast Asia since time immemorial. The Sultan of Sulu was able to use it as leverage against the colonial masters. The challenge to the present leaders of the region is how will they use it to their advantage to influence the present regional order.

"Every human being is a seed. From this seed grows a tree. The question is, “How does this seed become a tree?” There are two important factors to consider: Time and Land Fertility.

I spent my basic education in humble community schools underrated and looked down upon but it did become a barrier for me to tame my wild dreams. After my basic education, I pursued my education course in Notre Dame of Midsayap College. For village dwellers, to study in NDMC is a holy grail.

I found NDMC as a fertile land for my dreams. The principles and values that NDMC taught me became my guiding light while crossing the dark roads and valleys of life.

Here I learned how-to live-in peace with other faith. Though NDMC is a Christian school, Muslim students are better treated than one can imagine. After more than a decade, I came back and it gladly welcomed me as a part-time professor."

Tuway Travels | Islamically, it is highly imperative to honor one's parents by acting obediently towards them following their orders yet with limitations set by religious laws. As long as they do not command us to go against God’s teachings, we are obliged to follow our parents.

UVPN invited Bangsamoro Dialogue to its activity on policy consultation in selected communities of Special Geographic Area (SGA).

UVPN, in collaboration with ACTED under the Peacebuilding and Stabilization in BARMM Boundaries (PESTABAB) project conducted a community consultation regarding the policy recommendations of the Coordinating Committee on the Cessation of Hostilities (CCCH), Ad Hoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG), and Joint Peace and Security Committee (JPSC) regarding the rido in SGA.

Rido is a long-standing problem in the region that has caused social, economic, and political instability, adversely affecting the quality of life of the people in the area.
