2023 taught me a lot. Lots of failures, but lots of not backing up. Lots of opportunities and taken it all. Lots of blessings and been thankful for those. Lots of hard decisions but whole heartedly decided with no regrets
That 365 is so long and I know it molded me as a better individual, as a father, as a son, as husband and brother.
It is just heartbreaking that with all the battles that I fought last year I thought I would be celebrating the New Year with happiness and joyous moments but this year ended with heartache and sadness. Knowing that my friends and their families will end and start their year with heartache and pain. You may say that why I am so affected? cause why not? the place where I cherish my childhood, those folks who I grew up with are like family to me it is sad to imagine.
It's a harsh start for a New Year. But life goes on, and I pray that those families whose homes were burnt, will build their new homes with strong foundations and filled with blessings and guidance.
