āI didnāt think I was good enough. Turns out, no one else cared.ā
When I started in campus journalism, I wasnāt the most experienced or the most talented.
The other mentors came from Manila Bulletin, Rappler, GMA News.
And me?
I kept wondering why I was in the same room.
I let imposter syndrome take overāuntil I realized something:
ā Nobody cared about my doubts.
ā What they cared about was the value I could bring.
Once I focused on showing up and delivering results, everything changed.
Fast forward:
That chapter closed, and I moved into freelancing.
And guess what?
The doubts came back.
Now Iām surrounded by some of the top Filipino freelancers and virtual assistants.
On January 19, from 8 AM to 8 PM, Iāll be at Motherās Wonderland, Tayabas, Quezon, speaking at Freelancers Wonderland.
Hereās the truth Iāve learned along the way:
ā No oneās waiting for you to feel ready.
ā Your value isnāt in how perfect you are.
ā Itās in how consistent you show up.
ā The only thing standing in your way is you.
If youāre an aspiring freelancer, wondering if you belong in this industry. Trust me, you do.
Show up on January 19.
Letās stop waiting and start building. Together.
Comment āWONDERLANDā to join.
