๐Ÿ˜ค Gikapoy na mi ani! Affordable Health Care for All! โœŠ

This yearโ€™s theme โ€” โ€œUnaffordable health costs? Weโ€™re sick of it!โ€ โ€” is a powerful reminder that everyone deserves access to essential health services without financial hardship.

In the Philippines, gaps remain in making UHC a reality for all. Despite the UHC Law, many still struggle with registration, rising healthcare costs, and system challenges. At IDEALS, we continue working with indigenous peoples, decommissioned combatants, and community organizations to push for accountability, equity, and meaningful participation in local health systems.

Join us as we share insights from the ground and call for stronger action toward the right to health for every Filipino. ๐Ÿ’™

๐ŸŽฅ WATCH | Broadcasting Hope: How Marawiโ€™s Displaced Use Media to Claim Their Rights

Meet Jamalia and Samerah, two women displaced by the 2017 Marawi Siege, now rebuilding their lives in shelters on the cityโ€™s outskirts. Through S'bang ka Marawi, a grassroots media platform, they have become community broadcasters, using media to claim their rights, seek accountability, and mobilize collective action among displaced residents.

This short documentary reveals how community media can evolve from a simple communication tool into a source of agency, dignity, and tangible change for those still striving to reclaim home and hope in post-siege Marawi. ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿค

Broadcasting Hope was featured in the screening of impact videos during the GCERF Culmination Activity and Community of Practice on November 24, 2025, in Makati City. ๐ŸŽฌ

Strengthening stories that build peace. โœจ

Community patrollers from North Cotabato and the Special Geographic Areas (SGA) reconnected with the core values of journalism, truth, fairness, and responsibility, while learning new, creative ways to tell stories using their smartphones at the Refresher Session on Fundamentals of Journalism and Mobile Journalism (MoJo) held on October 26, 2025, in Pikit, North Cotabato.

Haifa Bantas, a community patroller, beautifully reminded us that behind every storyteller is a heart full of truth, resilience, and hope.
With renewed purpose and passion, theyโ€™re ready to share stories that strengthen peace, uplift community voices, and spark change one story at a time. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ“ฒ

Hijab has long been misunderstood, misrepresented, and reduced to harmful stereotypes of oppression and extremism.

In truth, the hijab is about choice and the freedom of Muslim women to define their dignity, values, and self-worth on their own terms.

Across the world, hijabi women excel in science, politics, sports, activism, and the arts proving that what you wear does not limit who you can be.
