SUBJECT : Scheduled Road Closure and Alternative Travel Route Due to Landslide and Soil Erosion

DATE : February 4, 2024
1. Reference:
a. PNP Master Plan Sang-Ingat; and
b. Strat Plan Safe Comval: MAO JUD;

2. In connection with the above references, we formally inform you that there will be
a tentative road closure today at 4:00 PM as per Mines and Geosciences Bureau recommendation (Formal letter to follow), situated at National Highway, Brgy. Sawangan, Mawab, Davao de Oro. This closure is due to a landslide and soil erosion, resulting in severe disruption to the road infrastructure.

3. This road rehabilitation will be completed in 3 days minimum.

4. In this regard, the alternative route for travel redirection will be via Purok 5, Sitio
Lonolono, Sawangan, Mawab, connecting to Maco, Davao de Oro and Tagum City Davao del Norte.
