AYOB FLIES TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA✈️🇺🇸✈️🇵🇭✈️🇺🇸✈️🇵🇭✈️🇺🇸✈️🇵🇭✈️🇺🇸✈️🇵🇭✈️🇺🇸

Today, we congratulate and applaud another one of our ex-schoolmate, classmate, friend, and brother - AYOB A. SAIDAMEN. He has achieved another milestone in his life and continues to make us proud with his unending achievements. Ma shaa Allah!

Ayob, 17, will be representing the Philippines and the M'ranaos, as he takes his teenage life to the other side of the world, the United States of America. Accordingly, he will be hosted in Hillsboro, Texas by the Martin Family. He took flight tonight at 6 pm, and is estimated to land at New York City in 16 hours.

Back in his grade 10 days, he was accepted as a finalist for the KL-YES Scholarship Program under AFS-USA (a government fully-funded scholarship program). Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, his trip was postponed to this academic year. He will be spending his senior year at Hillsboro High, Texas. In the time interval of his program's postponement, he spent his 11th grade at MSU-Marawi Senior High School, STEM strand.

As he takes on a new journey, we wish him luck and the best senior year! Let us all pray for a successful program and experience for him. Let us all pray that he lands safely - and comes back safely. Let us wish for more opportunities for him, for us, for all UTCnians.

Diamonyos, Hydrogenius, Rescuers, SSG, and the whole UTC family are rooting for you!

THE UNUTTERED

From the point we used step up on the stage to present ourselves in the campaign period, down to taking our oath and then, to be an official members of Supreme Student Government is grueling. To be student leaders is not just a piece of cake thingy. It is of great responsibility. Tiring, challenging and sweltering are few of the set of words could define it.

From the way of how we cloth, the way we response, the way we treat our fellow students and our teachers, and the enterity of how we act as a student has changed. It is not easy to set ones self as a role model to the whole students population of the campus. It is somewhat like there are automated CCTV's that look upon us -- on each of our moves. The attention is ours and that if we were wronged just at a time then everything will collapse. We are like lifting a bulky object that if we lose our balance we might get injured. -- To be a student leader is a huge little thing.

From the time we took our oath, we firmly stand to serve the students and we set aside each of our wants because all we aimed for from the very beginning is to engender a difference to our beloved alma mater. -- We are eager of preserving the greatness of the our fellows who happened to be inside our campus.

From the time we begin to work, we become blind and deaf. Blind of the differences we can view from our co-members and our fellow students -- Deaf from anything and anyone who speakes ill of us. We held our faith tighter and tacked our repulsions of any part of our job and anything being thrown to us.-- We sacrificed. We lead and at the same time we are also doing our job as students -- we do that because that is where we are fashioned for.

But none can argue to the fact that 'imperfections' is the most dominant commonality among us, humans. No matter how hard we spend efforts, despite of the thousand drums of sweat we lose and inconsiderate of how we sacrifice, we still cannot fill all the gaps and it is none of our ability to accomplish things with a 'hundred per cent' remark. The truth is that, we will always miss some holes to fill, some fracture to treat, some wounds to mend, some disease to treat, some catastrophe to defeat and some plans to establish. That's the reality of life -- a life that we possess and where we are on now. We, humans are perfectly imperfect and fortunately unfortunate.

On the bottom of all these, we still hold the fact that perhaps in the minimal way, just perhaps --- WE WILLINGLY DID OUR JOB IN THE MANNER WE CAN -- Perhaps WE HAVE OFFERED THE BEST OF WHAT WE CAN OFFER. Perhaps EVERYONE KNOWS THAT WE ARE HUMANS TOO.

On the behalf of the SSG's, we sincerely ask forgiveness for the gaps we haven't filled, to the plans we haven't done, and to the wrong moves we might had done to the whole MSU UTC FAMILY!

To our adviser, Sir Arthur Palagawad, we gigantically thank you for the untiring efforts, for the patience and most of all for the understanding. We ask you forgiveness for our wrongs toward you. This school year ends awful, we didn't even get a chance to bond with you but those times having you with us are still considered bonds. We will assure to you that we will implant deep within us your advices, your teachings and the pleasing treatment you shown us. You will remain in our hearts.

To my comrades - the SSG, we might have some conflicts and quarrels, some improper words uttered, some out of manner says toward anyone of us, or just a misunderstanding, from my sincere heart, I ask forgiveness from you all.

To our beloved MSU- UNIVERSITY TRAINING CENTER, TEACHERS AND FACULTIES, May Allah grant you prosperity and the best living in this world and in the hereafter. May Allah increase you all in knowledge and give you strength to fulfill your noble responsibility to the to community. Continue molding the minds of every youth who approaches you for their better if not the best of living. MSU UTC, THANK YOU AND REMAIN STRONG.
