Victory in DSPC!

Guinaoang National High School secured the second spot overall during the just-concluded 2024 Mankayan District Press Conference on February 9-10.

Points earned by the school's English and Filipino journalists who landed in the top five in their individual and team events totalled 73 points, following Mankayan National High School's 100 points.

Visual Arts Club in Action!

In celebration of the National Arts Month this February, GNHS mobilized its Visual Arts Club through the supervision of Ms. Laarni P. Locano to aid in the school's beautification program with their painting skills.

Representatives from the Local Government Unit of Barangay Guinaoang graced the Flag Raising Ceremonies of GNHS today through an IEC on Proper Waste Management and Disposal.

Mr. Omar Damoslog, the Barangay Secretary presented the violations and the corresponding penalties for not properly disposing garbage while Kagawad Andrew Paulino Jr., gave updates on the upcoming celebration of Barangay Guinaoang Foundation Day on April, citing different activities that students may participate in.

GNHS Launches Catch-up Fridays

To boost learners' reading and critical thinking skills, Guinaoang National High School launches Catch-up Fridays today through a series of reading activities from pre-reading to post-reading among all students simultaneously.

The said activity is lined with DepEd Secretary, Sara Duterte's announcement that Fridays be designated as Catch-up day, providing dedicated time for students to catch up on lessons and enhance their reading proficiency and critical thinking abilities.

The language teachers prepared reading activities good for the allotted time and oriented the subject teachers on the mechanics.

The faculty will be having a meeting this afternoon to tackle points for improvement in the conduct of Catch-up Fridays.
