At least nine senators reportedly want to reinstate Vice President Sara Duterte's P650 million confidential funds, despite the House of Representatives' decision to reallocate them for national security, particularly in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

According to a report by Politiko, the following senators are allegedly in favor of reversing the reallocation of Duterte's confidential funds:
• Robinhood Padilla
• B**g Go
• B**g Revilla, Jr.
• Bato Dela Rosa
• Jinggoy Estrada
• Lito Lapid
• Francis "Tol" Tolentino
• Cynthia Villar

Sen. Pia Cayetano is also said to be supportive of reinstating Duterte's confidential funds, but only if she can justify the need for them.
