I overheard this Filipino saying from a friend and it goes like moms are the "ilaw ng tahanan" or in English, "light of the home." Don't you just love that?

I've always felt that my Mom is the light that guides me in everything I do. But now that I’m living a new life with my partner and daughter, I've never felt more secure and nurtured by the presence of three lovely women in my life.

As I learn how to be a parent, I see how much moms do for their families. They are the pillars of a home.

I always try to give my full appreciation to the two incredible moms in my life, not just on Mother's Day but every day! They mean the world to me. A kiss, a hug, or a simple “I love you” would go a long way.

To all the moms out there, your love and sacrifices don't go unnoticed, and we appreciate you more than words can say. Happy Mother's Day! 💐

It feels incredible to see how all of us have come together and come up with this intergenerational event which allowed us to bond, build networks and connect. Is religion important to you? Ever wondered what it's like to drop everything and follow God? 💒✝

In our recent vlog, we interviewed Father Miguel and Reverend Ryan - 2 Filipinos who did exactly that. Father Miguel and Reverend Ryan used to have a mundane career, until they decided to become missionaries in small community in Oslob, Cebu. Communicating with them so casually was something that the both of us were shocked about. We even got to enjoy some delicious food as we followed Reverend Ryan in the process of blessing someone's home! 🏡🙏

The two were able to open our eyes about the catholic influence in the Philippines and how they consider their relationship with God in a more progressive and open-minded perspective in between our interviews. Definitely, it was an interesting experience that allowed us to reflect and realize the value of religion not only to their
community, but to the entire country.

As you all know, Christmas is a special day spent in the warm circle of family and friends, full of meaning and traditions. It is apparent how this endeavor, organized by Nelson Jolivet, Adrienne Charuel, and Chef Patrice Freuslon in partnership with F-tasteoffrance Chef Patrice, the Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia, and Make It Makati brought an enchanting atmosphere and Paris vibes to the country! 🗼🌟

With the theme “Eat, Drink, and Shop,” this Christmas Market in

Get a flight from Manila to Davao (the three major airlines in the Philippines fly to Davao). It’s easy to get a flight that fits your budget and schedule ✈️

From Davao, there will be a 20-minute bus and barge ride going to Samal. You may also opt going directly to the pier and pay ₱10 for a one-way ride.
