John Samuel Minas – or Joel as he's more commonly known – has been skating since 2002. Before his retirement as a competitive figure skater in 2010, Joel had earned 30 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals from several local and international competitions. He was the 2010 Asian Junior Champion and was a member of the Philippine National Figure Skating Team. Joel is best known to Yuri!!

! on ICE fans for his rendition of Eros – that video currently has two million views and his subscriber count has risen to 21,000. An avid Yuri!!! on ICE fan himself, Joel recently performed this live at the recently concluded Hear My Heartbeat: The Pre-Party, where he was the featured guest.
