"SHOWING THEIR STRONGEST LOVE AGAINST THE WORLD FOR 40 YEARS!"
Grabe 'yon! Love wins talaga! 🌈
Sharing this post I saw on Tiktok today, and it gave me both joy and sadness at the same time. Kasi imagine, this kind of love doesn't have the protection it deserves dito sa bansa natin, and yet, here we can see a love story that remained and did not yield through the years — despite all the "hate" and "discrimination" surrounding it.
Imagine how difficult that is for two people na ang tanging "kasalanan" lang naman ay ang magmahal ng kapwa nila kasarian.
Then my emotions got even more heightened by reading the comments. When I saw other people sharing the same sentiments, reading their stories of love by having LGBT (adoptive) parents, and being loud & proud about it — literally made me cry.
It just made me realize more na, THIS LOVE IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL. At kahit ano pang sabihin ng mundo, it won't change that fact.
Lesbian/gay parents are just like any other heterosexual couples/parents out there — they're also LOVING, CARING, and they will go extra miles for their children (even when they're not their own). And unlike some parents that abandon their own child or mistreat them or even abuse them? THESE LGBT PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO TREAT THESE CHILDREN AS THEIR OWN.
So don't ever tell me that LGBT COUPLE don't deserve the rights and protections that YOU STRAIGHT COUPLE are getting easily without you begging for it. You literally just breathe and have these rights, yet some of you exploit it.
Yeah, we're all humans. We're all sinners but we are all loved by ONE GOD.
PROTECT GAY/LESBIAN COUPLES! PASS THE SOGIE BILL!
