Love is a tricky word. It’s most often understood as an intense feeling of deep affection. Biblically, love has a much deeper and richer meaning; it transcends a feeling or emotion. This is what we see in 1 Corinthians 13. Paul tells us that love isn’t merely a feeling but a way of relating to others.

LOVE IS MORE THAN A FEELINGS.

A SHORT VALUABLE STORY

A young girl asked an elderly woman:
"Do I really need friends in life?"The elderly woman responded:"Yes. Life is truly very rough. There should be someone by your side with whom you can talk for hours without feeling that they would judge you; on whose shoulders you can cry, one who will give you emotional support. When no one will be there for you, they should be there. One who should help you share the good times and overcome the difficult ones."The young girl asked: "Is it true that a fake friend is more dangerous than an enemy?"The elderly woman responded: "Yes. It's because you know who your enemy is and you're not going to let them get close to you. But a false friend is pretending while getting your trust. They find out your vulnerabilities, your secrets and your dreams. They know which button to press and how to stab you in the back."The young girl asked:
"How do I avoid being surrounded by fake friends?"The elderly woman paused for a short moment, then asked, "Between a small garden and a forest, which one has more snakes and scorpions?"The young girl responded: "The forest, sure!"
The elderly woman smiled, and then said: "Good! When you keep your circle of friends small like a small garden, the less snakes and scorpions you have to worry about, even rats. The fewer people you hang out with, the fewer problems you have to deal with. When I was young, I had a very big group of friends. But as I grew old and wise with experience, my circle of friends became smaller. I realized that quality outweighs quantity when it comes to friendship. Don’t fool yourself by holding onto the illusion that everyone is your friend. You may have numerous acquaintances, but real friends will always be just a few people you love and trust. The best way to prevent yourself from falling into the fake friend trap is by being more mindful about the size of your circle."

LESSON: Surround yourself with people who make you happy. People who make you laugh, who help you when you’re in need. People who would never take advantage of you.They are the ones worth keeping in your life. Everyone else is just passing through.

DON'T FOOL YOURSELF BY AN ILLUSION THAT EVERYONE IS YOUR FRIEND. A TRUE FRIEND GENUINELY CARE. THERE’S ONLY ONE FAITHFUL FRIEND AND THAT’S HIM , GOD.

✍🏻 Sometimes explanation is not necessary,forgiveness is a must.

Romans 12:17: ——Forgive Others Who Hurt You Because It Breaks the Cycle of Hurt and Retaliation.

I remember how God suffered,

He was abused, tortured, forsaken, and abandoned, yet as He hung on the cross, knowing the pain still to come, He showed love and compassion by asking the Heavenly Father to forgive His abusers.

God has forgiven us of a debt that is more than we can ever pay. The forgiveness of your sins is the a life-gift gift from the Father. And when we withhold forgiveness from those who hurt us, we are like the ungrateful servant.

We love God’s compassion and His loving kindness, but we refuse to share that love and compassion with others.

Our unforgiveness to someone is an insult to God. We are saying that we are more offended than He is. We gratefully accept God’s forgiveness but refuse to offer the same grace to others.

FORGIVING THOSE WHO HURT YOU FULFILLS THE WHOLE LAW OF GOD.

It is simple yet very difficult. God asks the hardest things from us to us from believing on our own understanding. Even how hard it is, we shall close our eyes to everything around us. Put aside our knowledge of earthly reality & logic . It's seems tiring but you must trust him completely.

LIFE CAN BE TOUGH, AND WE ALL FACE CHALLENGES. BUT GOD'S PRESENCE GIVES US COMFORT & STRENGTH.
