'FIRST TIME KO MAKARINIG NG HEARTBEAT'

Sa interview sa kanya ni Toni Gonzaga sa 'Toni Talks', nagkuwento si Mikee Morada tungkol sa third miscarriage na pinagdaanan nila recently ng kaniyang asawang si Alex Gonzaga.

"To be honest noong nalaman namin ni Catherine na pregnant siya, hindi namin akalain.

Wala kaming plano, ang plano namin baka posibleng makapag-prepare muna ang katawan o kung ano man... Nag-decide na kami na mag-iingat na talaga siya.

The second week, okay pa ang ultrasound. Hanggang doon sa pangatlong linggo, sinabi sa amin ng doctor na wala na naman laman, blighted o**m ulit.

So, bumagsak na naman ang ano namin pero mas kaya compared doon sa una, kasi nakailan na kami.

Feeling namin mararamdaman namin 'yung saya kapag makarinig na kami ng tibok ng puso o makakakita kami ng embryo kasi 'di pa kami umaabot sa punto na gano'n.

Sakto nag-text 'yung OB, parang kinukuit siya... Naisip namin, 'Sige, magpa-second opinion tayo.'

The week after, pagpunta namin sa ultrasound na 'yon, 'yung pang-apat, [nakita namin] mayroong baby sa loob.

Naiyak ako noong narinig ko ang heartbeat. First time ko makarinig ng heartbeat.

Then nalaman namin na mababa ang heartbeat niya. Trinay namin habulin, baka ma-save namin, ginawa namin lahat...

Si Catherine lagi niyang sinasabi, 'We claim it.'

Pero lagi ko rin sinasabi, 'Let's surrender it [to God] kumbaga 'wag na tayo mag-expect kung ano. Syempre gusto natin i-claim pero nasa sa Kanya pa rin.'

So, noong dumating ang December 28, magkahawak kami ng kamay, pagpasok namin, nakita namin ang embryo, 'yung baby... wala na siyang heartbeat.

Strong siya (Alex), e. Pero nu'ng umuwi kami ng gabi, du'n siya nagbe-breakdown." 💔
