Your spooky stories have added an extra chill to our Halloween celebrations. As we read these tales, let's remember to treat all beings with respect, even those from the spirit world. Let's offer a moment of silence for those who may be lost.
𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙐𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙨
The true horror of existence is not the edge of death but the light of sunrays to those rotting days.
Closed windows, repeated alarms, and dark eyes, with those heavy wills to get up and continue life. You remember the kid in you, waking up every day with those exciting breakfasts, ironed clothes, and a kiss on your forehead. You don't ask a lot of things of God but bless you with fancy toys and a chance to meet your childhood friends again tomorrow.
Until, in a blink of an eye, it felt like a boundless sea you've got no choice but to conquer. No one exists in your peripheral visions anymore; you rushed away from home like your life depended on it. Circumstances pushed you so hard and far that you failed to clinch the root of your childhood. You do things on your own, which is why you left navigating things astray.
You are as pity as those dreams blown away with dandelions; you are as hopeless as the waves on the shores that kept coming back; and you are as lonely as the end of a good book. Before you could even ask how these things happened, you kept asking why because, deep in your heart, you knew how things went like a storm, but as hopeless as you are, you're pulling those whys as the sharp knives on your bleeding knees.
In the end, the truth lies within those reluctant tears; it screams loud in your wildest thoughts; it aches down into your heart. Poor child, lost and unshielded. You felt almost everything more than your eyes could see. You do not fear the grim reaper's shadows but hide from those repetitive sunrays in your rotten bed. No one is your friend, and the sun does not smile at you.
Perhaps, after all, you want the sunrise to be soft again and hug you tomorrow.
