Belated announcement because life has been keeping me super-busy these days, but just wanted to share my two new recent graphic novel releases: "Life Lessons from a UFO Catcher: An Autobiographical Manga - Vol. 2" and "Dad vs. The World," debuting back-to-back on Valentine's Day and Dad's birthday (Feb. 15th). Both books are continuations of my original "UFO Catcher" series, with the latter book serving as a birthday present and "love letter" of sorts to my father, chronicling fond memories we made together during my childhood.

UFO Comics founder and graphic novelist, Dr. Kenny Loui, AKA UFO Catcher Ken, held his first book signing and author meet-and-greet event at River Lights Bookstore in Dubuque, IA, today.

A heartfelt thanks to the many people who showed up to lend their support and to River Lights for hosting the event.

Written by Loui and illustrated by Yamawe, "Life Lessons from a UFO Catcher" and "There is No Shrimp... And Other Lies My Mother Told Me" were recognized at this year's Midwest Independent Publishers Association - MiPA Midwest Book Awards. "There is No Shrimp" won for Best Graphic Novel and "Life Lessons" was a finalist. 🛸🦐💕

Author-signed copies of both books are available for purchase at River Lights Book Store. ✒️📖💕
