My kind of peace of mind is not clearing my name for everyone. I am no longer apologizing for myself. I cut my accountability for what they think about me. I just let my actions prove myself that they were wrong.

If you'd ask my circle about me, they'll say I am supportive. To my family, I am a good and smart daughter. Ask my acquaintances and they'll tell I am not that friendly, but not that aloof. My enemies will tell you I am not nice. And for people I didn't know but heard stories of me, they will tell you different versions.

Different people, different approach. My friends and family would know my jolly side, acquaintances will see the balanced, and for the rest to see the bad ones. Yet, I no longer explain myself for everyone to understand me. I no longer use "it's me, take it or leave it" excuse for them to feel guilty for their malicious thinking.

This world is my battlefield: a me versus me. So to whatever you think of me, I'll let them be— my life is not an open book to read, nor a breaking news to broadcast. And if my existence irritates your demons, it's not my fault. My story depends on who you ask.
