𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵 𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗲

We proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝙈𝙃𝙎) 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝘿𝙪𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙧𝙠 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙯 𝙇. 𝘼𝙘𝙚𝙗𝙤, 𝙄𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙞𝙡𝙖 𝙕𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙤, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙪𝙢, who have once again proven their critical thinking skills during the 2𝙣𝙙 𝙅𝘾 𝘼𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙨 𝘾𝙪𝙥: 4𝙋𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙏𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙨 held at Bonifacio Javier National High School (BJNHS) on Jan. 18.

Placing as quarterfinalists, their recent victory stands as a testament to their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

One of the debate speakers, 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙤, 𝙬𝙤𝙣 9𝙩𝙝 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 as one of the 𝙏𝙤𝙥 10 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙨 during the event.

These achievements would not have been possible without the guidance of their dedicated coach, Mr. Roe S. Riofrio, whose mentorship has been great in shaping the team’s strategy and sharpening their analytical abilities.

Representing MHS, our debate team demonstrated exceptional skills, tackling complex issues with confidence and clarity.

ManDaloy along with their dedicated school paper advisers gathered together 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨.

This year-end gathering is not just an occasion but 𝙖 𝙢𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙪𝙞𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

The Mandaluyong High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Word Community Youth, and School Parent-Teachers’ Association (SPTA) hosted the Mandaluyong High School Christmas program, the 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙜 2024 with the theme: “𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 2024: 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙖, 𝘼𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝙎𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖 𝙖𝙩 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙡𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙠𝙤”, at the School Auditorium on Dec. 18.

Mr. Pompio B. Floro Jr., School Principal, highlighted in his speech the 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚'𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨.

In a remarkable display of teamwork and determination, 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 2𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 in the recently concluded Joint Division Celebration of the English and National Book Month 2024.

After bagging 𝙣𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙙 2024-2025 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, Mandaluyong Journal (MJ) was invited by the School Principal, Mr. Pompio B. Floro Jr., to recognize MJ's winnings.

𝙈𝙧. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨' 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 that led to their success in this school year's DSPC and will serve as fuel as select winners continue their journalism journey for the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) next year.

After a nail-biting battle of wits and quills, the 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 returned to Mandaluyong High School (MHS) carrying medals and unforgettable achievements from the recently concluded 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨: 2024-2025 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 (𝘿𝙎𝙋𝘾) held at Addition Hills Integrated School (AHIS) yesterday, Dec. 3.

With a 𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 53 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨, the MHS journalists brought glory and honor to their beloved school.

Meanwhile, select winners will proceed to the upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) and begin their training next year.

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗠𝗛𝗦) 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 conducted a culminating activity to award the contest winners of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, with the theme, "𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻, 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀" at MHS Auditorium, today.

This event highlighted the importance of protecting and safeguarding children against all forms of violence.

Select Grade 10-Locke students prepared an entertaining intermission number which preceded the awarding of the winners of the contests.

Afterwards, MHS Dance Club performed a contemporary dance, followed by the awarding of certificates of recognition for MHS Integrity Influencers.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲!

Today, we commerate the bravery and heroism of the 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼.

Andres Bonifacio was born on November 30, 1863, during the Spanish Colonization period in Tondo, Manila. He is known in our history as the Father of Philippine Revolution.

We remember his courage, sacrifices and his legacy that paved the way for Philippine's independence from the colonizers. His profound love ignited the fire within us for our country to have freedom.

May this day inspires us and embody the same commitment and love that Bonifacio and our other heroes has to our country, even at the risk of our lives.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻

𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴–𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 marked the beginning of their "𝟭𝟲 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲" International Campaign with a special event held at Mandaluyong High School (MHS) Auditorium, on Nov. 27.

This event aimed to raise awareness about the ongoing struggle to end violence against women and children.

“Learn how not to be a victim but basically be mindful, be honest, be kind and respect others," said 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼, 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗔 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯, as she shared insights of their advocacy.

The club’s major mission is to reach out to women and children affected by violence, and to ensure that people enjoy their privileges and rights as women and girls.

In collaboration with 𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 (𝙈𝘼𝘿𝘼𝘾), National Drug Education Program (NDEP) conducted a seminar with the theme, "𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚: 𝘿𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣" at Mandaluyong High School (MHS) Auditorium, on Tuesday, November 26.

This seminar is significant to MADAC's objective to make Mandaluyong a drug-free community.

"𝙒𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙙, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪," said 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝙍𝙖𝙚 𝘽. 𝘿𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙯, 𝙍𝙉 from 𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙒, as he discussed the cons of drug abuse, drug misuse, and drug addiction.

It is their primary goal to raise drug awareness and prevent overconsumption of drugs as they continue to take appropriate actions to reach their mission; to make Mandaluyong City free from the tight chains of drugs.
