Today, we celebrate the grace and blessings bestowed upon us through the intercession of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. May her loving presence bring peace, hope, and countless miracles into our lives.

Let's honor this special day by offering prayers and thanksgiving for the countless graces received through her miraculous intercession. May her compassion and love continue to guide us on our spiritual journey.

Heavenly Father,

On this blessed day, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your grace and guidance.

We thank You for the gift of life and the opportunity to embrace a new day. As we navigate the challenges and joys of this world, we ask for Your wisdom to make the right choices and the strength to follow Your path.

Lord, watch over our loved ones, especially those who are in need of Your healing touch or comforting presence. May Your love and mercy surround them and grant them peace.

We pray for our world, beseeching You to bring unity, understanding, and compassion to all nations and peoples. Help us to be instruments of Your peace, working towards a world where justice and harmony prevail.

On this day, we also remember all those who have gone before us. May their souls rest in Your eternal embrace, and may we find solace in the hope of a glorious reunion in Your heavenly kingdom.

We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,

1 Peter 2:16

Reflection
The Bible encourages us to live as free people, but with a responsibility towards God and others. We should not misuse our freedom as an excuse for wrongdoing or selfishness, but rather use it to serve and love those around us. As servants of God, we have a duty to honor Him and His commands, and to seek to do good in the world. Our freedom is a gift, and how we use it reflects our character and values. Let us strive to live as people who are truly free, yet humble and compassionate towards others, in service to our loving God.

Prayer

Dear God, we come to you in prayer with hearts full of gratitude for the freedom you have given us. Help us to use this freedom responsibly, and not as a cover-up for evil or selfishness. Instead, may we use our freedom to serve you and those around us, as faithful servants of your will. In our daily interactions with others, it's easy to get caught up in the mechanics of communication - what we say, how we say it, and what we hope to achieve through it. However, if we neglect the importance of love in our communication, we risk coming across as insincere or even hypocritical.

Prayer

Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. Psalm 25:8-9

Psalm 25:8-9 reminds us that the Lord is good and upright, and because of this, he is willing to instruct sinners in the way. It is the humble and meek who are most receptive to his teachings, and the Lord leads them in what is right and teaches them his way.

The opening line of the passage, "Good and upright is the Lord," sets the tone for the rest of the verse. It tells us that God is not only good, but also righteous and just. This means that he always does what is right and fair, and we can trust in his goodness. Therefore, when we feel lost or disconnected from God, we can turn to him with confidence, knowing that he will lead us in the right direction.

"When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways." Acts 3:26

This verse comes at the end of Peter's speech to the people after he and John had healed a man who had been lame from birth. In this verse, Peter is referring to Jesus as the servant whom God had raised up. Peter is reminding the people that Jesus was sent to them first, as he was a Jew and came to the Jews first.

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Luke 15:7 - NIV

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin! Psalm 51:1-2
