MaRHS Clinches Gold in MPSSAAA Girls Volleyball Championship
Madapdap Resettlement High School has once again proven its dominance in the realm of school sports by clinching the gold medal in the girls' volleyball championship at the Mabalacat Public Secondary Schools Amateur Athletic Association (MPSSAAA) Meet, held on December 9, 2024, at Camachiles National High School.
The team faced off against Duquit High School in a highly competitive match that showcased the skill and determination of both squads, ultimately winning with scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-14.
The match began with an electric atmosphere, as supporters from both schools filled the venue, cheering passionately for their teams.
Madapdap Resettlement High School quickly established its presence on the court, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and strategic play.
The players executed powerful serves and precise spikes, which kept Duquit High School on the defensive, allowing Madapdap to take the first set 25-17.
Madapdap continued their strong performance in the second set, winning decisively with a score of 25-16, which led them to a commanding position in the match.
In the final set, the tension was intense as both teams battled for the championship title.
Madapdap's players rallied together, showcasing their determination and focus. They pulled ahead and secured the victory with a score of 25-14, clinching the gold medal.
"This win is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaching staff," said Joanne Timbol, head coach of Madapdap Resettlement High School Women's Volleyball team.
"We are incredibly proud of our girls for their performance today and we couldn't be happier."
MaRHS will move forward to the Mabalacat City Division Amateur Athletic Meet (MACDAAM), where they will face the champions from the Mabalacat City Association of Private Schools (MCAPS).
