Wow, what a week! Fri-yay indeed! 🥳

It has been a long and very busy week for me—I completed a 22-day intensive training for social media management, and I'm just waiting for my graduation certificate. ❤️

I also managed to onboard a new client this week! Yay! I've never been able to close a client in less than 24 hours before. 😱

Fridays are always hard, but I think it's important to take some time out of our busy days to reflect on the good things we've done, the accomplishments we've made, the people we've helped, and most importantly, the things we have learned. 👌

I couldn't be more grateful to be doing what I love and helping businesses grow. Though it's challenging at some point, this is why I do what I do: because it's fun! And because I love helping people transform their business into something greater than they ever imagined. It's very fulfilling. ❤️

We may seem like wizards when it comes to creating new content for your business on an ongoing basis, but in reality, we're just using a simple trick. And today, I'm letting you in on the secret. 😉

The secret is simple: Don't sell the problem you solve, sell the solution instead. 👌

This means that instead of focusing on how your product or service is a solution to a widespread issue, you should focus on the benefits of using your particular solution.

Think about it like this: Do you want to go see your doctor because you're sick🤒, or do you want to go see him because he'll make you feel better🥰?

Do you think people will be more likely to buy a product that helps them clean up their messes or one that helps them avoid making messes in the first place?

Business is all about solving problems—but nobody wants problems! They want solutions! People don't want a website; they want new clients. They don't want to get rid of their grays; they want to look younger.

I haven't done one of these in a while, but it's time for another Monday motivation!

You DID NOT wake up today to be mediocre. You didn't wake up today to do ANYTHING mediocre—that's not what you're about! You woke up to be amazing. You woke up to be powerful. You woke up to change the world. ✨

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

If you've ever struggled to come up with content for your business to post on social media, this is the tip for you: take care of yourself on a Sunday.

This might seem strange at first, but hear me out.

When you don't rest or do something for yourself on a Sunday, it can be harder to come up with fresh ideas and content throughout the week. You might find yourself thinking, "I just don't have anything new to say." 😩

But if you take time to rest on a Sunday—whether that's sleeping in 😴, binge-watching your favorite show👀, reading a book📘, going on a walk outside… whatever feels good to YOU—you're much more likely to feel inspired and full of ideas on Monday morning! 😁

This works because when you're well-rested and feeling inspired and healthy, it's easier for you to think creatively and come up with new ideas. Even if you don't come up with anything specific right away (although I bet you will!😉), just being in the mindset of feeling refreshed and inspired is enough to get your creativity going.

It's a complicated question. 🤔

The short answer is that it depends on the industry, your goal, and your target audience.

According to a recent study📈, entertainment and media businesses see higher engagement rates on weekends, while retail and travel companies see higher engagement rates during weekdays.

But these are only averages! It all depends on your business and your target audience. For instance, some business owners find that posting on weekends means they can't keep up with the volume of replies from their customers—but at the same time if you rely on your social media marketing to generate sales, posting during the weekend might mean missing out on potential customers who are more active during the weekdays.

It all boils down to this: If you want to know for sure what's best for your business, you need to test different posting times yourself and see how each affects your engagement rates.

Determination and hard work are two of the most important ingredients of business success, but often, procrastination is the third.

It’s true: We live in a culture where we feel like we should be doing more, but also one where it’s common to put off the things we don’t enjoy or that scare us. 😞

But if you want to grow your business, you need to do the things that are hard, uncomfortable, or even beyond your scope—even if you don’t immediately see the results. You need to put in the hard work, even when there’s no guarantee of success. You need to keep at it when it seems like nothing is happening.

The goal is to find a way of thinking about these hard tasks that make them seem manageable, something you can do today—no matter what day it is. Because if you don’t start somewhere, you won’t ever get anywhere! 👌

"Have you ever made a post on social media, just to watch it flop? 😞 Maybe you even paid to promote your post, and it still didn't go over so well. 😭

While we'd all love to believe it's because our audience just "doesn't get it," the truth is the algorithm is probably working against you.

Whether it's a Facebook algorithm, an Instagram algorithm, a Tiktok algorithm, or any other sort of social media platform, algorithms are designed to keep users engaged on their platform as long as possible, and they do this by giving users the content they're most likely to love. That means that for your business to get noticed, you have to have a clear strategy to beat the algorithm game.

I know it can be frustrating, but I'm here to tell you that there's hope and that algorithms aren't as scary as they seem. 🌈

Want to increase engagement with your social media posts? Post hashtags! Hashtags are great for boosting your post's visibility and engaging with users on a topic. Here are some tips on how to use them effectively:

✔️Service-specific hashtags: post #[campaign name] when posting about that campaign, #[company name] when posting about the company or its services, or #[service name] when posting about a specific service

✔️Campaign-specific hashtags: post #[yourcompanyname]contest after you talk about the content you're promoting, or if you're featuring it in an image

✔️Industry-specific hashtags: post #[industry term] after you talk about your industry or anything industry-related

✔️User-generated hashtags: ask people to share their posts using a hashtag, like #[campaign name]. This is great for promoting campaigns!

✔️Branded hashtags: post #[brand name] after talking about yourself or something related to your brand

I won't lie.

March has been a tough month for me. I don't even feel like celebrating April 1st as if it's April Fool's Day. I just feel like it's a continuation of March. 😥

But as I ponder and think about all the things that happened. Yes, it was a terrible and difficult month, but it was also a month of blessings: birthdays, reuniting with loved ones, the end of a period of suffering, and much more. ❤️

Because I was so immersed in all the bad things that happened, I forgot all the good things that happened as well.

I forgot that aside from the bad, there is still good. And life won't stop just because of a sad month.

That's the same with our businesses. Every month is different. There are months when everything's going well: sales are up, there are new customers, etc. But there are also months when everything seems dry.

What are they? How do they work? Are they important? Why do we need to care about them? 🤔🤷‍♀️

Algorithms are the gatekeepers for what shows up on your social media feeds. They decide what you and everyone else see, based on a variety of criteria that change according to each platform.
