Never stop learning. New insights and streamlined method for properly tuning an FPV drone gained today! Thank you Pikachua and Niro Nathaniel Natividad for the new addition to my knowledge in tuning. Two main points of today's learnings: Not all noise needs to be eliminated; and properly showing step response graphs is key to finding optimal balance.

This is the result of today's tuning session. Response is remarkably better with finer critical damping. No stabilization was applied, only distortion unwarping. Even with moderate wind, flight was as smooth and as how I commanded with the sticks. No wobbles, no jitters, even when idling while gliding backward.

Now, I have to tune all my other quads. Want to learn to tune your quad? Reach out to us!

A micro class Y4 configuration multirotor. I have had this Diatone R249 frame since my early days doing FPV. Gave it a new life with current electronics in a configuration it was never meant to be in. It hovers and flies, but will it rip?

DJI o3 Air Unit maiden on a micro cinewhoop. This flight is about 7 minutes long! With the camera quality, a separate HD camera like a decased GoPro is now optional. Phenomenal signal pe*******on, will definitely need to test this in other areas!

Following an update in video transmission system, motors, and frame, tuning is an essential part of FPV drone building. This makes sure that motors are running at optimal temperatures, input response is within the comfortable range, and vibrations are dampened to not overload the onboard flight computer and cause mishaps. This flight explores the "feels" of its flips and rolls, plus a minor crash. Happy now with its flight performance on the ultra lightweight HD camera attachment. More tuning flights for other payloads!

Achieved 5 minutes of flying with this cinewhoop rebuild request from Benkz FPV.

This is a Reptile Cloud 149, initially an analog build, which has been converted to a DJI digital video transmission. This 3-inch drone is able to fly a full size GoPro and a 1300mah 4S LiPo battery for 5 minutes with a slight breeze. Being a ducted cinewhoop, every little gust of wind is felt on the sticks and seen on the goggles. With a little help from GoPro's Reelsteady V2, the little bumps and shakes are taken care of giving a nice, crisp flight video.

This cinewhoop is powered by diatone.us Mamba F722 mini Mk2 stack propelled by Xing 1507 2300kv motors matched with GemfanHobby D76 propellers.

Looking forward for epic videos from Benkz FPV with this rig!
