Then read on! 👇

A study by Adobe found that the average person receives around 80 emails per day. However, this study focused on personal emails and did not include work-related emails. 😱

Ofc, it depends on the person’s job, personal habits, and etc. But the point is, your email is competing in the sea of emails in your recipients’ inboxes.

You wanna make sure that yours stand out and that they engage with it and hopefully click to visit your website to buy.

Let me share with you four powerful email marketing tips that I apply to my clients that resulted in higher sales:

✅ Personalization is key.

Go beyond just adding their names. Make segments that are categorized on each of your customer's preferences.

✅ Never forget to add a preview text

Adding a catchy preview text will persuade the reader even more to open your emails. When writing down the preview text, consider them as your subject line’s best friend.

They go better together and support each other.

✅ Add a review or testimonial to your email flows

This simple and tiny addition makes a HUGE difference to your emails. For example, in your Abandoned Cart email, add a review at the bottom, as this will add credibility to your brand.

We tested this out on my most recent client and we were able to increase sales by up to 105.66% on her Abandoned cart flow.

✅ Showcase your customer's photos using your products

When you include customer photos in your marketing emails, not only are you able to showcase your products, but you can also build trust and credibility and increase engagement with customers.

As much as we’d like to think our subscribers are reading our emails while sitting on a couch with all the time in the world, taking in our words one by one, that isn’t the case for most.

In today’s hyper-competitive world and with our attention span shorter than a goldfish, gone are the days of long-form content.

If you look at Tiktok or Reels, most videos are at 7 seconds or can be more depending on how interesting it is that can hold someone’s attention longer than that.

But the point is, most of us now prefer skimmable, easy-to-read content that can be consumed in a few mins or less.

And that’s one factor you should consider every time you create your emails.

Especially with fashion emails, your customers want to see the products. It’s more on imagery, but the copy is what will help strengthen the selling point of the products.

Make your emails visually interesting and the message clear and concise.

Let me share with you three tips on how to make an attention-grabbing email:

📧 Use intriguing headlines.

📧 Make sure that your font is an ideal size. Don’t forget the mobile users.

📧 Use bullet points and lists whenever you can.

The key to knowing what will work is to continue optimizing. Do A/B tests and see what emails will get the most engagement and sales.

According to ExactTarget, 58% of internet users check their emails first thing in the morning.

And almost 9 out of 10 email users check their inbox atleast once a day.

Given this number, your emails have the odds of being seen by your target customers, in contrast, to IG where only 1 out of 10 followers can see your post.

Regarding ROI, email marketing generates $38 for every $1 spent.

Talk about dollah dollah bills! 💸💸

This year, we’re only playing BIG.

And when I say ‘BIG’, it means utilizing the marketing platform that gives the highest ROI among other digital marketing channels.

Did you know that one-quarter of your subscribers look at the preview text first when deciding to open an email?

Yep! Preview texts are important to keep an eye on not just subject lines. 😉

In case you don’t know what preview text is, it is the bit of text below or beside the subject line that gives extra insight into what the email is about.

As someone who subscribes to a lot of brands, this is one of the mistakes I often see with some brands.

They forgot or maybe just left it empty that their preview texts are like these:

“View this email in your browser”

“View web version | Instagram Pinterest | Facebook”

“Bras | Shorts | Leggings | Crop tops | Unitards | Skorts”

The thing about these are they do not support the subject line or give more context to what the email is about.

When writing down the preview text, you should think of them as your subject line’s best friend.

They go better together and support each other.

Adding a catchy preview text will persuade the reader even more to open your emails.

Get creative and ALWAYS remember to be honest.

Never trick your subscribers just so they’d open your email.

Make it short, sweet, and personalized. 😉

Ever had those times where everything is going well as planned but all of a sudden, you see yourself breaking down?

Coz that’s me these past few days. (allow me to be vulnerable for a sec 🥲)

As much as I’d love to keep posting just the sunshines and rainbows in this account, it felt wrong to do so when I, myself, ain’t really feeling one.

We get caught up with life’s challenges, pressures and stresses.

We’re humans after all.

And I thought maybe someone is feeling down today so I’d like to pass this message along.

Go and cry if you must. It’s okay to cry! It's okay to take your time to heal.

Take this as your permission to release those tears you’ve been holding back for so long.

Let out those pent-up emotions.

But please don’t succumb to those feelings for way too long that you won’t do what you’re meant to do. Find your pace.

After you cry, take a deep breath, drink water and bounce back.

Remind yourself that great things are ahead of you. Amazing things are waiting for you.

This is what I tell myself and so I am here.

This is me picking myself up and going after my goals stronger than before.
